The challenge:

Simple format no ads. The game lets me know when I've made an error so I don't go 10 steps down the road before I find out and have to trace my steps to sort things out. Also allows me to set the game for indefinate errors. I'm in the learning stage so it's more important for me to practice than win. I tried a number of other Sudoku aps and they were flawed. THIS is the best app.

I played this game on my Mac a lot, and I mean a lot! But since either a Mac OS upgrade or an app upgrade I cannot not drag the app window border to increase the size so I can see the number off to the right side that really helped me play. I can still play it but it's just not as much fun any more. Now I need either fix to this problem or just quit playing this app game.

if i were playing in the sudoku grand national championships the numbe of mistakes i made would be sooooo important. i hate the fact that you talley them. I can barely see. Most of my mistake are from not switchin the pencil on and off appropriately. Please let me switch off your reminders of my mistakes - it is irrelevent to me, makes me feel like your interface is like big brother.
Good control, pay for hard levels

Great keyboard controls and popup explaining them. Only daily and easy levels are available for free, higher levels cost $7.99 at this writing. Free levels have 1-4 numbers in each square, take about 15-25 minutes. One option is the game stops at 3 mistakes and forces you to restart or abandon (this may be turned off in menu). Great control on keyboard with WASD or arrow keys and all features have a key to toggle on or off.
