There’s a couple of bugs I’d like to bring notice of. First on is pausing the game and then trying to continue the run. If you do this, often you will just get thrown off your animal as soon as the game resumes. Next one is also getting thrown off of your animal for no apparent reason. Your run will suddenly end and you can see that the game is actually still trying to play as it will count coins but you won’t receive them. I can’t tell you how many good runs I’ve had to just have the game bug out like this and immediately end it. The final bug I’d like to bring notice to is not a gameplay bug. When you run a tour and the tourists show up to your zoo, they will walk through the enclosures. I had a lot of fun playing this game before Apple Arcade added it and I even stopped playing because of the ads. I’m glad it’s on Apple Arcade now just please fix the gameplay junk and make the tourists not walk through everything and maybe touch up the airship animals so they aren’t just npcs walking into the wall lol. Super cute and fun game except for all the desperate gotchas the developers put in so, in some twisted logic, you will pay them money in the freemium version of this game. Still you can put up with most of it. My whole family played this game. But the Outback is so bad it ruins it all. We have every biome unlocked, sky and space. But the extinguish 8 flames in one run mission is so hellacious half the family eventually quit and I think I will as well. All the fun sucked out. They throw every dirty trick at you so it is no longer a skill issue, just intense frustration. You put out more fires (even triples!?) than you catch, and when you do there is a rock hidden in the smoke, or *NO* water period, or a bunch of animals standing in the only water, or the kangaroo will jump over every single one. That’s just a partial list. A couple would be fine and just make it challenging, but it’s far too much to enjoy. I’ve only managed to complete two of these missions in scores of attempts. Most other missions take 1-3 tries. Now I’m on my third and I’m done. If this has never been freemium I think it would have been super charming and addictive. The devs clearly put a lot of thought and whimsy into it. Too bad it has that history.

I love this game. Ever since I realized Apple one involved Apple TV and arcade I’ve been coming here to make sure my money isn’t being wasted. And let me tell you I’m not disappointed. This game is truly amazing. Simple concept and not too flashy but there is something about collecting all of these little block creatures that I had me so intrigued I can’t put it down. As amazing a d fun this game is though I do wish for a couple of changes. I noticed a few animals don’t act the way you would think they would. For example the shark eats its prey in the water and the lion can be upgraded to eat anything no matter the size. But the wolf can be upgraded to eat anything? The elephant and the rhino use their mass and its horn to destroy whatever is in its path but the sword fish slams into the clown fish and it crumbles like paper? I am confusion!! I understand the eels lack of shocking of course but the goat can’t ram smaller animals out of the way?

i used to play this game a lot as a kid but got annoyed with the ads so i was thrilled to see an ad free version. the gameplay is just as fun and addictive as i remember but there are some bugs and features i'd like to see fixed/added. 1. theres a bug where in the middle of a run, the animal im riding will just..slide out from under my feet and keep running. my character just faceplants with no obstacles around. doesnt seem to have any rhyme or reason to when it happens either, the game just randomly decides your run is over. 2. it'd be nice to be able to use an in-game currency to either skip or refresh missions. some of them are quite difficult whether its user error or actually hard, im not sure, but either way it would be nice to get some new missions if you cant complete the ones you have. and 3. the ocean ship is confusing. i cant figure out the den upgrades and how to get them. there also doesn't seem to be very many rare animals in the ocean, i havent seen any at least; the only one i've found is the one purchasable from the shop. so i cant really figure out the point of the ocean ship either other than a slight increase in income. but since i cant find any rare animals, it doesnt increase much. it also took me a while to realize i could collect the bubbles for more oxygen during the run. i could very well have missed it, but i think a better explanation or tutorial tab of some kind would be helpful. good job devs on making a timeless game
