5 Star But: Awesome In (Almost) All Ways…
Disappointed Former Loyal Fan
I love this game and I’ve been playing it for a number of years. Changes over the years with the inclusion of Arena competitions that change every few days and daily challenges, along with the continuous addition of new plants helps to keep things fresh, fun and engaging. I rarely leave reviews anywhere, but a relatively recent glitch has me writing one now. It has to do with playing Arena challenges. Every so often (but often enough that this is really becoming an issue), right in the middle of the game, the app just shuts down and kicks me off of the platform. And what ends up happening then is I lose the gauntlet required to play that game, and also the satisfaction of knowing whether or not I was actually going to win or not. This isn’t a huge issue overall, but it does mean I end up forfeiting a gauntlet when I may not have actually lost, and I also then don’t receive whatever prize I would have received for that game’s win. And as there’s no way to recoup that particular game or gauntlet, it just kind of feels like a rip off, tiny though it is. Over time, those small rip offs add up, you know? And the overall effect is….irritating, to say the least. I wish the developers would address this bug. I’m sure enough money is being made by them without having to nickel and dime loyal players here and there. Then this game would have my full-throated endorsement of a true 5 star game without the caveat in the title.

So this is going to make people mad but here it is. First of all this game is great and has tons of content for you to enjoy. Sure they may be a lot of in app purchases but the games has to make money somehow. But I’m really annoyed at all the dumb people in the reviews. So first of all no one cares if you spend money on the game or not. If you don’t want to pay 1 simple dollars to get rid of the ads that no one wants to here it. It is literally ONE DOLLAR! It’s really cheap. If you just paid 1 dollar then you would get no ads. Second of all if you are having trouble with pirate seas one of the most EASIEST worlds in the game then you will not be able to play any of the other worlds. If you can’t beat the second world then your an l. You are a loser. Third of all it’s not a play to win game because people that have all level one plants have beat it. If you can’t beat it that’s embarrassing and all it is, is that you have bad strategies and you don’t think. If you had a good strategy then you could easily beat the worlds. Also lastly, no one gives a crack if you hate the leveling system. If you don’t like it, then literally just ignore it. You don’t have to level up your plants. YALL are annoying. Also it stinks that some of the original plants cost money but that’s how it is. And ps, all of the premium and gemium plants and seed packet plants are not needed to beat the game. So I hope that this review will be helpful for anyone that reads it from now if or until it dies. Peace out! I hope this information was helpful.

Would you mind making Sugar Cane? Sugar cane is exceptionally tall allowing it to block low flying zombies, dynamite zombie, imp cannon imp, etc. it blows spear-like canes from it’s top dealing 30 damage with a 20% chance to explode with sugar into 3 tiles into 3 lanes in front of where the cane landed, the sugar doing 70 damage and making a crackling sound when a zombie steps on it (sugar doesn’t spawn when a plant is on where the sugar’s supposed to be). Sugar Cane looks like a straight upright bamboo with black eyes and a mouth filled up with air, ready to blow a projectile. His defense is 2,500 and it increases by 200 when leveled up. Base damage of spear-like cane is 30 and upgrades by +5 when leveled up. Sugar damage is 70 and also goes up by +5 whenever leveled up. Recharge is 25 seconds and decreased by -1 when leveled up. Initial sun cost is 250 and goes down by -20 when leveled up to 5, and then 10. You can pick the type but I’d say it’s an Arma-mint type. Description: He likes watching low flying and jumping zombies go head first into his body. Special: exploding sugar goes into 3 tiles into 3 lanes in front of it. Special: blocks jumping zombies, flying zombies, etc. Plant food effect: blows sugar onto every zombie on the lawn, dealing 150 damage and also makes a crackling sound.
