I was really hoping this app would be like the LEGO Disney app. There is an option to just pay to unlock each map and not pay for a subscription because sometimes we use it and sometimes we don’t so paying for a monthly or yearly subscription for something we don’t use every month is excessive but we will gladly pay five dollars to unlock a map and play with it for a while. But this game has no option to unlock a map without paying for the monthly or yearly subscription. There is no price to just unlock the one or two that you want. I hope this changes because it’s the thing I really love about the Lego Disney app is that we can just choose to unlock what we want to when we want to. It’s always a special treat for my daughter when we unlock a new one for her. We love Bluey in this house but I don’t want to pay $5 a month for it. It does come with two of the maps unlocked for free but that’s all you get for free and the only way to get the rest of them is a subscription. Sad

I downloaded this thinking it might be worthwhile for my son. However, there is no way I’m going to pay upwards of $40/year for a game. We have been caught in that trap before on other games (not made by this developer). We pay to “remove ads” only to have stealth ads slipped into the game; ads that are NOT age appropriate.Maybe it’s a great game. I’ll never know. The subscription/software rental model has to stop somewhere, and I’m doing my part here.
