--- WORDS FROM THE MASSES ---
“I don’t know why this game is so fun. It just doesn’t make any sense!"
“Farts rule. I approve this game wholefartedly.”
“That is the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. I want more!"
"At first I loved Doofus Drop for its style and concept, then I played it for a minute or two and thought it was crap, then I played it for a few more minutes anyway; upgraded some stuff, accepted my own limitations within the game and settled down to enjoy the lack of effort and easy drama. Now two days later I think it is a work of rare genius and still can't put it down. It's a good game to play after a hard day contemplating the meaning of life: playfully arguing with a friend about which series of Power Rangers had the highest special effects budget, or debating what you'd miss the most after an apocalypse. It's safe to say Doofus Drop is not for everyone*, but the emotional thrill of achieving a sweet long drop (through no personal skill, merit or entitlement) is just peachy. The game invites a sort of zen-state, where the less you care about the outcome and the more you pay attention to the details the further you appear to travel, but it might just be me. You're welcome! x *Do you like pointless footnotes? If not I don't think you'll like Doodle Drop, but feel free to prove me wrong. People who like strategy games probably won't like it either, but change is good for you."
First I’ll say, my record is a little over 295,000 feet (which is 60 miles). I have never spent a single cent on this game, though I am going to pay for the No Ads feature. I see ads about once every 4-5 runs. Not annoying at all, I just think the developers deserve the cash. This is not an easy game at first. You have to wisely invest your stars in upgrades that will help the most ie, being able to carry 5 cans of beans, star attraction and later in the game, upgrading your bike, wheels, ramp and explosives. Then later, your vehicle. I suggest the Trash Rocket. The game has a great pause feature so you don’t have to go your entire run at once. I got my record distance yesterday. I started in the morning with coffee, paused and continued throughout the day and ended at 7:45 last night at work. (With the dreaded skull). The game is really rewarding if you stick with it. Nuff Said.
Great fun, but needs a bit more...

First of all, there’s something wonky going on with the tutorial mode. Once it gets to the upgrades section you can’t do anything. You have to turn the tutorial mode off and then the upgrades section will work. This happened on both my phone and my wife’s. The game is great fun though. Very addictive, but I have to applaud the developers for making this app such that you don’t have to purchase anything else. Given enough time playing you can “buy” most of all the upgrades with the in-game stars. My only gripe is that there needs to be additional hills. There’s only 2, and they both get old after some time. There’s also nothing past the asteroid belt which was a huge disappointment! I saved up so many stars to be able to skip past the belt... for what? Nothing. Maybe add a moon level you can glide into up there. Or something! Anything please. Also, need a way to turn the upgrades off if they become annoying, which some of them actually do. Great job overall! Hoping to see additional apps from this developer.
Fun and addicting

My best so far is a mere 65k feet but I've got about everything other than the rocket and monster truck. Just takes forever to get the stars if you don't buy the grinder. Of you sit and binge ads when the star count to watch is high (I haven't figured how sometimes it's almost no stars and sometimes I had ad stars as high as 700) but Doofus need silly colored undies!! And Hill 2? What a pain. Have a good run going and you either get hooked or the fish comes out of nowhere and swallows you. That fish needs a random fart to blow Doofus airborne! Can't wait for more hills and trying to best my score.**March 17th update. I’ve pretty much beaten the game. Bought all you can buy. But I’ll say this. Do not Buy Infinite Beans! After buying it even if I shut it off I no longer can post long distance records. I shut it off and with the Star grinder X3 on you can pretty much keep 5 stars all the time if you plan right and bounce around the asteroids. I made what I consider a legal run to 780k feet. I only stopped because I was getting bored. It had taken me 3 days of carefully not closing the game to get that far. I messed up and died getting trapped in a block of asteroids and no beans to toot. Game ends no high score. Played a day later again made it to 200k feet and no record. Played again with star grinder off. 144k feet no record. I had hit #2 numerous times but never #1 and now I can never make #1. Most likely deleting the game soon as rooting for distance has now become worthless when everything is purchased. I bought the start grinder as I’ve played the game for 120 days so far and felt since I had fun the developer needed more than my ad free donation. Now the fun is lost. Also how do you land in Ned’s head? I can never land in it. It’s my only achievement I haven’t got!
Fun and pretty unique

So first off, great game. Mindless entertainment with minimal interaction can be a lot of fun. The sound effects are funny and the music is alright. A few of the main issues I have: (1) I feel the game is too dumbed down on information. For example I had to find out on my own that once you get your max amount of beans, the stars you collect won’t count towards your next can. Or how long your bike lasts, or other numbers. Not a huge deal, but good to know. (2) It’s super frustrating when you use all three cans before 1000 feet because every can sends you straight into another fork or spike. (3)the emergency shark that says “100% Saftey” does not go over the decapitating bear. I tried. And (4) when I’m listening to my own music, I have this apps music down, but the app forces my music volume way down, leaving the sound effects horribly loud. It’s a great game, but still has some flaws
