Albion Online is a cross-platform sandbox MMORPG set in an open medieval fantasy world. The game features a player-driven economy where nearly every item is player-crafted. Combine armor pieces and weapons suited to your playstyle in a unique, classless "you are what you wear" system. Explore the world, take on other adventurers in thrilling battles, conquer territories, and build a home.
CROSS-PLATFORM PLAY: Albion Online is a true cross-platform MMO experience. Whether you prefer PC or mobile, one account lets you play on all platforms.
PLAYER-DRIVEN ECONOMY: From basic tools and clothes to mighty armors and powerful weapons, nearly every item in the game is crafted by players, in player-constructed buildings, from resources gathered by players. Buy, sell, and trade at local marketplaces all across the world of Albion. Craft rare and powerful items, then sell them to the highest bidder and grow your fortune.
YOU ARE WHAT YOU WEAR: In Albion Online's classless combat system, the weapons and armor you use define your skills, and switching playstyles is as easy as switching gear. Test out new equipment anytime and change up your weapons, armor, and mounts to suit any situation. Hone your character’s skills by crafting new items, or by simply using your favorite equipment.
PREPARE TO FIGHT: Test yourself against other adventurers in high-risk, high-reward full-loot fights. From solo to small-group to large-scale battles, you'll need strategy, tactics, and skill to prevail. Level your combat specializations, create unique builds with complementary skills, and use every tool at your disposal to emerge victorious. Enter the Crystal Realm and fight 5v5 or 20v20 battles for massive rewards.
CONQUER THE WORLD: Join a guild and carve out your own piece of Albion in massive open-world battles. Claim territories for access to incredible resources, construct guild halls, build Hideouts, and track your progress against other guilds worldwide on the leaderboards. Join a City Faction, climb the ranks, and take part in continent-wide Faction Campaigns.
PUT DOWN ROOTS: Claim a city plot or private island and make it your own. Grow crops to sell or make into food, raise your own livestock and mounts, and build crafting stations for private or public use. Stock your house with custom furniture, trophies, and chests to store your growing collection of loot. Hire and train laborers to keep everything at your homestead running smoothly.
FACE DEADLY FOES: From small scouting bands to massive bosses, the inhabitants of Albion’s open world await your challenge. Take on six different factions, each with unique enemies that require their own strategies. Partake in solo or group Expeditions, or seek out the ultimate thrill by facing demons and other players alike in Hellgates and Corrupted Dungeons.
EXPLORE A VAST WORLD: Explore five vivid biomes, where you can gather raw materials for crafting or cast a line into Albion's waters to catch fish. Seek out solo and group dungeons with powerful foes and lucrative rewards. Enter the Roads of Avalon to discover ever-changing paths between distant zones, and explore the Mists to encounter rare creatures and lucrative treasures.
I found Albion online off of adds, and somehow ended up downloading it. But it’s the type of game I have been looking for for awhile now. I only recently started playing, but it has the right skill level, where things aren’t too easy right off the bat and you can’t kill anything with one hit (which I’m assuming will change with upgrades), but it’s not necessarily too difficult either, and I haven’t needed to worry about dying, since there isn’t many penalty’s unless your in certain areas.I like that the game doesn’t have any sort of class system, so I don’t need to worry about picking a good class, and if I get bored I can always change my mind later. Because there isn’t any main storyline, I don’t need to worry about blocked off areas or finishing a quest that I find boring and slow. I admit that the market system was a bit confusing at first, but then I realized that the market is just massive, so you need to know what type of thing you are looking for before you search (at least with the public market, shops are easy to navigate.) I highly suggest downloading Albion online if you want a non-restricted rpg experience, where you don’t need to fight if you don’t want to, can work towards any goal with as much content as adventuring has, or are like me, and like the small details like walking slower if you carry too much (which can be helped with fairly easily attainable mounts).
Immersive and captivating - highly recommend

Albion Online is everything you could want from an MMO and more. They have a huge community and they’re been around for 6+ years, so the game is well developed and there’s so much to do. The medieval world building, charming graphics, beautiful music, excellent city and map design — it’s all perfect! Whether you focus on the aesthetics, the strategic combat, or the complex player market, the story and theme is there to complement it. Playing for the first time truly feels like a journey into a new land — and you really can forge your own path. After the well integrated tutorial, you’re free to do whatever fits your play style. You’ll have a great time playing whether you’re a casual player or a 1000-hour grinder, a single player explorer or part of a huge group. A lot of thought and careful design has been put into the whole game and I really compliment Sandbox interactive for making sure external purchases don’t ruin the game. Every bit of game content is accessible without paying a cent. You could use real money to buy the best equipment in the game and lose it immediately in a dangerous zone to a mediocre player that has skill and some experience. I hate pay to win games and trust me, I would call it out if paying could ruin the experience for others whatsoever. The game is pay to progress, not pay to win. I’ve never spent a penny on the game (sorry!) and I’ve had a wonderful time. 10/10, cannot recommend more to someone looking to start their next adventure. Play on PC, though, if you can.
To give a plot line here- I started the game with really no expectations other than disappointment at the 5 hour mark- landed in, got a guild, and the guild mates started taking me around to all of the content that was enjoyable and group focused- even giving me a million silver (multiple times because I lost all my gear in black zones several times). Soon enough within a couple days I was running solo bz content and group content. It really gave me the same adrenaline rush as the old swg and eq1 days when I would die and lose all of myEquipment or I would make out with a bunch of silver. My third day in the game I setup a group to go to a bz, we really were a bunch of noobs going into a t6.1 bz, not knowing really what we are up to. Until, we randomly chose a solo dungeon, and low and behold there was a player inside who got trapped as soon as we entered. We chased him down, not doing too much damage until finally he collapsed. Opening up his body, 5 million plus a rare mount. It was one of the most memorable moments in all of my time playing mmo’s, to be a beginner and find such a bounty and still have to exit the dungeon and find our way through two black zones to get home and split the rewards. I highly recommend downloading Albion and playing the group content and finding your way into bz’s or mist asap. I’m a beginner but I’m hooked.

Great game

It’s been five years since I played games and that was WOW. ON and off over those five years I looked for something to play on my iPad and I found nothing. Couldn’t get into auto fight games or the cutesy Asian themed games. I found this a few months ago and love it. I actually went out and bought an Alienware laptop to play it. Yea it’s overkill for this game but so what. Mobile on my iPad 12.9 M1 is great as well and I use it sitting at bars. But when I’m back in my truck (I’m a long haul truck driver) I use my laptop. It is free to play. That review that claimed it wasn’t and it’s racist is goofy. You get a few benefits from paying a tiny amount, come on, 12 bucks isn’t much. There are plenty of players that don’t spend a dime. Since I drive a lot I don’t have the time some people have to earn the silver to be free to play so I pay. So what. That’s the way of the world. If you have money you can use it in life to make life a little easier. Overall I love the game. I bought New Life. I played it a few hours on launch and came right back to Albion and haven’t played New Life since. The only thing that is difficult for me in this game is full Loot PVP. I tried red zone once and got my behind kicked by like 10 guys within 5 min of entering. Maybe once I get better I will be able to run and hide more efficiently. I understand it’s a full loot PvP and people like that. It does add excitement. I just wish there was something to equalize the fights a little bit. So if say 10 guys try to attack one maybe only a few can attack at once and the others can’t to make it somewhat fair. But it is what it is. Still a great game.
