I almost gave it a 5, but it ran out of Stories already. Also, I wish that either the special timed events would give an option to complete them to finish the decks, maybe at a spend your coins type penalty option. I hate that being an adult & having to work instead of living on my phone takes priority & then I can’t complete my collection I worked hard to get done is gone forever. Maybe figure out a fix for that & it’d be 5 star all the way.

Events will b e re-run in future updates to give players who may have missed it the opportunity to earn the prizes. Keep an eye out for more events and thank you for playing!

After the recent update, progress constantly goes back to Chapter 1 Level 1 for the current story I had completed twice (Commotion At The Cat Cafe). I attempted to complete the whole story without taking a break but after I finished the last level, the app blacked out and crashed. Once again , the story got reset to Chapter 1 Level 1. This bug is ruining the game as it forces players to have to replay the completed levels without ever proceeding past Level 1.I’ve modified my review to 4 stars bc I really enjoy this game. Will bring it up to five once all bugs are cleared!

If you are replaying a story you will need to ensure you are resetting the story after fully playing through and finishing it for it to save your new progress, after you reset the story you need to ensure you tap the "Begin Story" button in the story menu. After this the story should then start saving your new progress when you begin playing. If the issue continues, you can reach out to our team at support@solitairestories.zendesk.com

  • Overall great.

So far this has been the best Solitaire app game I’ve come across that matched my want for some story and gameplay that had some variance and challenge to it. I do wish there was a more cohesive rewards points system for using them such as multiple machine turns instead of one at a time and things to purchase without random chance. The deck builder is rather clunky to navigate. I would love if there was more of an RPG element in here somehow, but even without that, it’s still wonderful. There’s enough difficulty levels that I stay entertained and challenged, so I’m constantly playing games here and there when able.

  • I loved this game until I didn’t

Last update has the game crashing at the end of every round. Doesn’t matter which mode. Uninstalling and reinstalling the game worked for a couple days and then the issue came back. After reading more about the game in my attempt to troubleshoot, I’m concerned that the developer is using AI instead of paying artists. I’m not really interested in supporting businesses that don’t appreciate art, so as much as it’s a huge bummer, I’m not hanging around for an update that might fix the technical issues. If, however, the developer were to come out with a pledge not to use AI, I’d be back in a heartbeat. I just care about my artist friends more than I care about playing solitaire when there are plenty of alternatives out there

  • Great graphics, relaxing gameplay

UPDATE *** Love the new spider solitaire update! Similar to Churchill solitaire but without the alternating suits. It’s great to be able to switch back and forth between spider and traditional, and super nice that they made it a little easier to get to the game play settings! I absolutely love the newest theme, it’s sunny and looks hand drawn, just what I needed. I hope they continue to focus on the artwork, and pretty pls moar prize ball items! ❤️❤️❤️I love this solitaire game. You can play either a single game or a series of games in a “story” that gets progressively harder. My original complaint was that there weren’t enough stories, and they added more stories! Albeit with some odd choices for celebrity voice actors (Jane lynch was a great choice, but the writing was kinda blah). Honestly I don’t really care about celebrities, I just want more stories to get through AND more items to “win” from the ball machine thing (when you get the game this will make sense). I’ve acquired all of them, and I’d love more, or the option to create my own somehow. And please, just spend the money to pay developers to make more stories. Preferably with animals. It’s a great solitaire game, good graphics and sounds. Would just be nice to have more. We are still in a pandemic and this is one of several apps I use to escape from the anxiety and stress of the dumpster fire that is our world.

The game creators responding quickly to my first review , and I’m happy to report some great improvements to the game. The game note will automatically change to landscape view when I turn my phone, which makes it easier to read the cards. While some fonts are still difficult for me to read, there are many more with colors and fonts that I am able to read easily. The deck in the current “Light the Candles” game is beautiful -I hope it remains available after the special event is complete. The changes in the past few months have moved this game into first place in my Solitaire games. This could be a great solitaire game except for the font size and style. I play solitaire to reduce stress, but the font is too small, and it can’t be zoomed in to increase the size. The style of the font increases the problem of readability. There is a choice of style for different colors and graphics on card fronts and backs, but no large print option. Instead of making large numbers or showing the numbers by having the numbers suit symbols on the card face, they have one large suit symbol on each card. Why not have an option to have the number large and the suit small?

Great news! Solitaire Stories has a feature in the Settings menu that allows you to increase the numbers and generally help make the decks more accessible. You can enable this accessibility deck in the App Settings category of the settings menu by switching Story Deck to Basic Deck. This should help but if you have any other questions or feedback, you can reach out to us at support@solitairestories.zendesk.com
