Infuse
Ratings & Reviews
I have been using Infuse for years. It just works. And it does so on my iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Vision Pro. And relative to what everything costs nowadays, the Pro version is SO inexpensive. It is the one subscription where when I get an alert that I am about to be charged for another year, it brings a smile to my face.
In the iPad version, we could scan forward and back 10 seconds by looking to the right or left of the screen and tapping our fingers together. If we used the Magic Mouse we could move forward or back by swiping. Both of those capabilities are gone in favor of clicking arrows in the pop up box that shows when you click on the screen. It is more cumbersome, with 2 clicks instead of one, and if you are searching for something, multiple 2 click sequences, where it used to be click, click, click with your fingers to find what you are looking for. A definite step backwards in ergonomics.
This is by far the best available media player for the Apple Vision Pro!
As a day one vision pro user and an infuse pro subscriber, I have been waiting for this and it was worth it. Brilliant!
I have been waiting for the immersive environments since the release of Vision Pro. It puts Infuse back in the top spot for video viewing apps!
The white bar at the bottom doesn’t fade away anymore and makes dark scenes hard to focus on.
What I was hoping to be the killer app for Vision Pro ended up being a subpar release that doesn’t understand the platform in its first iteration.
This software is just OK. On the bright side it has access to your library. But the player, is subpar it doesn’t not support Apple Theater mode.
Shows a blank division screen when playing a video
Simply does not launch anymore
