Cards won’t place with lag

I’ve been playing this game on different accounts for over 7 years now (pretty much 8) almost since the release. I’ve seen the whole journey of how the game grew and improved over time and trust me, I’ve been around since the very start. I’ve put a lot of money into it, I’ve maxed out all possible achievements across three different accounts, but there’s one insanely annoying problem that popped up not too long ago, about 3-4 months back. I don’t remember ever seeing it before.Here’s what happens: when the internet connection is weak or when the network is under heavy load, I can still watch the game in real time. I see the opponent attacking, I see my towers going down… but I can’t play a single card or interact with the game at all. The weak connection icon shows up sometimes but other times this happens even without it.I get that part of this is on me, since my connection isn’t always perfect. But the thing is before, even with bad internet, I could still manage to influence the game somehow. Now it feels like the ability to place cards during lag is completely disabled. I just sit there helpless and it’s really frustrating.If there’s any way to fix this, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks for an amazing game Supercell! 🫶🏻

I will be as truthfully honest as i can while reviewing this abomination of a game which supercell bestowed upon us. To give some background i first stumbled across „Clash Royale” around 7 years, but not until a couple of months ago did i start playing. The game sucked me in with it’s new updates (evolutions, goblin journey etc.) and overall mechanics that are specifically designed to keep you hooked for as long as possible especially the new „star drops” for which you have to complete a multitude of „challenges”. As i continue writing this “review” I become more aware of the prison or should I say solitary confinement that SUPERCELL has put me in. HOURS upon HOURS of non stop playtime EVERY SINGLE DAY that I could’ve used for anything productive and useful I instead chose a children’s mobile game. I’m tired. I’m terrified. I’m lonely and above all else i’m disgusted with myself. To any person reading this….. do something better with your time. (Update: they removed path of legends and replaced it with “ranked” mode which doesn’t have level caps. There isn’t a single fair game mode anymore. If you don’t have a full level 15 deck it’s time to quit because you won’t win games which means you won’t get rewards which means you won’t progress and repeat)Play any other supercell game this one’s the WORST.

The game concept of the game sounds cool and all, yet these people completely don’t know what they’re doing. The game is supposed to make you place cards strategically, take risks, outsmart your opponent - but those people don’t care about the essence of their own game and make characters that you’d have to be braindead to play bad. Why add so many cards with so many powers when you keep cards so overpowered and so pointless that you can just play them and win most games without breaking a sweat - literally. Why look at other cards when they’re just fillers. The matches at higher arenas are so boring, the same thing over and over again - sometimes, when you’re lucky, you’ll get an interesting matchup where each decision holds tremendous value - not like „Me play Megaknight, me so smart” type of losers. The P2W is so widely mentioned it’s one of the first things that come to most people’s mind when thinking about Clash Royale or Supercell in general. The greed those people possess is the same kind mentioned in the Bible. They’re so greedy they’d probably make their newborn babies pay rent if they could. Buy this, buy that - cards, passes, special offers, emotes even. It’s utterly pathetic. The sole thought of being near those people makes me want to take a shower.
