I’ve been in Wattpad for 3 years and still enjoying my stay despite of the Wattpad Beta Program though I’m one of those people who can’t afford to buy those coins. Wattpad already run in my veins that can’t be remove no matter what happens but I have to agree with my co-user of this app to consider our request or just think of a solution that would benefit everyone. I know that Wattpad Beta Program helps our beloved writers to earn money by just publishing their awesome stories and I know that would help them a lot but based on my observations only those famous writers were on the program and the fact that they are already famous means publishing companies would go look for them and a publish hard copy of their books means money, I know that those new and not famous writers can also be part of the program if they want but why would they do that if they want to increase the number of their readers? Many readers can’t afford to buy those coins so those writers would make their stories free for them to earn readers. I know that millions of stories are still free but not all of them would pick our interest and I just want to inform you that I would rather buy the hard copy of the book that’s in the program than to buy those coins. I’m not saying that you should remove the program but just a little help to those readers who can’t afford to buy those coins and I hope you would think for a better solution to this case. " THIS WAS YOUR STATEMENTI hope you bring back the wattpad that has been loved by everyone for years where they can read the stories they love anytime and anywhere without any hassle. The coins to unlock chapters, ads after every few chapters, some paid stories and all that were all okay and fine with everyone because we know it helps the writers and developers make the app better but having only one offline story to read? Even just before this update there was already a limit on the offline stories and that was okay, but now there is only one book we can read at any time and any place. Seeing as the main reason everyone was hooked to wattpad for years was because of having their own free library in their pockets. I can’t say its free anymore, you’re just giving us choices whether to pay for the premium app or pay for internet we can bring anywhere too which by the way, is hassle. Hope you change your decision! Thank you for listening.

First of all, this is a great app and we are all happy this app exists. For 6-7 years in wattpad, I enjoyed every single book I have read and I have no regrets. The wattpad that we knew was our only escape to reality, everything was free there and if you want to read a good book, say no more, you can even disconnect to the world and finish series by series without even bothering to check notifications because you’ve disconnected to the Wi-Fi and all of the story in your library are still in your grasps. However, the updates were too much for us. Now, we needed money. At first, it wasn’t a big deal for me, yes it’s sad because some stories are no longer free and if you’re online, ads were popping—and it was fine, because that ad was the only support we could offer to our authors. But another update came, now, only two stories are allowed when you go offline. You can no longer pick along the 100+ books you have stored because from that moment on, you’ll only have 2 options. We wanted to support the authors we admire. We wanted to support the app that made “escaping from reality” possible—but not all of us had the money to do so. It is sad. It is not fair yet we can’t do anything about it especially because we’re just readers. I hope that bit by bit, Wattpad will come back to it’s original form. The original form we all enjoyed.
