I get that there atleast has to be a pro subscription so that it would be easier to edit. but ever since mostly all of the stuff I mostly use to edit like for ex “smooth slowmo” back then its free i mean everything used to be free i started using capcut in 2021 everything free and all but now in 2024 everything you litterally have to pay this app used to be a “free editing app” but now all i see is “pay to edit free” i dont really get why you have to add stuff like those especially the ads i just wanna edit peacefully and then boom a random ad comes up before none of these were there no ads no subscriptions just free. I get why there is a subscription and ads but sometimes everytime I decided to go “wow i have a feeling to edit right now” so i go into capcut just to see pro that pro this everything is now pro so i just lose my interest to edit. I would really enjoy and appreciate if they brought back the old cap cut because back then i would edit all the time “oh wow my favorite character is so cool in this scene i wanna edit them so badly now” and then i go on my phone and then boom i make the most amazing edit ever but i do see other people make better edits but yeah. I would be happy if they removed some stuff out of pro like “motion blur”, and also i really have a hard time editing with the reverse now because i would pick the clip i JUST wanna reverse just that clip but it reverses it to the very start its very annoying now since i wanna do a reverse edit and then is just does that. I really love capcut until now but since the “pro” update came out im starting get bored when i edit since everything is pro, still love it though its just very hard to use it now

I really love this app. I’ve been using it for years for fun edits, and even school projects. It’s very easy to use. That’s what makes this app good. But that’s disappearing. I noticed that some features are only for premium. I edit my audios for my edits I post on TikTok, then I’ll just see that all of the effects have to require premium now? I don’t really see the point. I know the company has to earn money in a way, but at least keep the useful features free. Like, what do you mean morion blur requires premium now? That was hyped up so much when it came out. Even reduce noise? Even the animation presets, especially the old ones that were there FREE ever since the app started becoming popular, are only free for only a period of time now.This app is so popular because of how easy it is to use and how anyone can use it, even if they have no experience in editing. I hope you realize that if a lot of features (especially the good ones) are requiring payment, people will move to different editing apps. For your information, I’m not the only one complaining about this. So many other people have been complaining about how everything required Pro. People are calling this app “money grabbing” or “greedy” just because of this. ONE MONTH is ₱399 which is actually so insane. I really hope this gets raised to the team because so many people use this app for its easy access, and then you’ll just take that opportunity away from us.
