Gmail is a very easy to use app which means we dont have to go here and there trying to do a simple thing. Plus the new feature of making a google meet via gmail! The interface is nice and simple which makes it a lot easier to find things. Gmail is highly recommended by me because it is an easy-to-use app that doesn’t have some sort of complicated things just to do something simple. Very happy using gmail. 😃
Complete and utter shambles

Bring back the left corner navigation bar (stop auto hiding it). Adds unnecessary clicks/touches to save a few mm of screen space that you can’t use anyway when composing emails. Rather than adding such unnecessary/useless features please focus on fixing the horrendous amount of bugs in your application e.g. when trying to create new mail, when you copy paste text into a new mail on this app (as you do day-to-day when composing an email), the style gets copied over too. But you have not provided any way to remove or make text style consistent in this app. So when you press send, you get words in large font next to words in smaller font with different styles - absolute shambles - highly unprofessional to send/receive an email like that. After writing an email in this app, I have to go to the web version of gmail to use the text style remover tool to make text consistent. That removes bullet points wasting valuable time, so if I want to preserve those, you make me need to try and select text and do 6 unnecessary clicks/touches to set the text size, font style, and font colour to be consistent (in the web version of gmail). This is made difficult because selecting text in the web version of gmail on safari doesn’t work properly, wasting valuable time. Have to remember to do all this with any email where any text/or link has been copied in when composing a new email when using this gmail app. I reported this issues months and months ago but 0 fixes. Complete and utter shambles. Also, isn’t it time to add an undo button for text entry on this app? In summary, stop adding useless functions, read peoples feedback and implement fixes for critical bugs. This would certainly increase number of users.
“Move” needs a Label Search Option
InanimateOne 76
Hi Google, Is it possible to add a search option after selecting “Move” on the Gmail app? Or at least the option to untick the “Inbox” label from the email. My work account has hundreds of labels, and they are relatively long names. Every time I want to move an email from my inbox back to its parent label I have to scroll through all of my labels and hope I see the check mark because the labels are too small to read. In the browser I can simply untick Inbox and the email goes back to its parent label and I have a nice and tidy Inbox. It would be a great addition to your app.
App is fine but:

This app is my preference for gmail on iPhone, has more functionality than Apple’s mail app, and more importantly, allows for mail notifications to be received properly, not fetched at fastest every 15 minutes (Apple 🤔). The only thing that is wrong and unfortunately this prevents me from using the app is the inability to have images and/or rich text formatting in your signature. This isn’t something I’m willing to compromise on as it creates inconsistency when replying in conversations using different devices. I understand this has been an issue for a while now but Apple’s mail app allows for this feature so it surely isn’t impossible to achieve?? Please fix google.
Bug fixes and performance improvements.
