Naomi was very knowledgeable and very patient guide. My husband and I were in limited time frame due to cruise departure. I paid this tour specifically to skip the queue and to concise the large museum tour, however, the tour group was consist of some old people with plenty of time. Asking question of how old the pine tree is or how much weigh of the globe and taking soooo long to walk. I asked Naomi that all I wanted to look was Michelangelo’s Sistena ceiling paint and St Peter’s basilica’s pieta. Knowing only your guide can take us through to St Peter’s basilica from Vatican museum inside route without going through security again I had asked her which is quicker for us to go through by ourselves or stick with her as I really needed to leave by 2:30 Naomi told me that we go ourselves would be quicker as queue is not bad for St Peter’s today. We run through to sistena then exited Vatican museum walked all the way outside to St Peter’s then go through incredibly long queues of security then we were finally inside of St Peter’s but we were soooo disappointed to see Naomi’s tour group a head of us…😭

We had a fantastic time with Adi. We only booked the trip a few hours before the departure time so were a little worried, but found we had nothing to fear. Adi was at our hotel reception waiting for us in a nice cool air condition car, knew exactly where to get the best of everything from parking at the temple to making sure we had tickets to the show. He was even our security from the Monkeys after we saw one steal a girls sunglasses! He knew all the back roads to avoid the traffic and whisked us off to Jimbaran bay after the show. He dropped us safely back at our hotel. He was a great driver (we had seen some pretty crazy driving but felt completely safe the whole time with Adi). Lovely guy and would highly recommend this trip :)

I was very impressed with Get Your Guide App. Easy to follow, gives very accurate details of Tour and how to get to the meeting place. I accidentally double booked tours paying with Credit Card and when I cancelled one, the money was instantly refunded. Another instance I was late for a tour and when I phoned the number supplied for that particular tour, I was told ‘no problem, we can fit you in the next tour’. Will definitely use this App next time I travel and highly recommend to all.

GYG is great for buying tickets - the app is easy to navigate and there are lots of options for things to do at destinations. Comms was great with notifications giving you great reminders. (Good). We booked a few tours and destinations to visit in Rome & Florence.But users beware. Unfortunately our experience with GYG providers was awful. We ran late to a guided tour due to traffic - 5 min delay. Our tour had left which was disappointing and our tickets went with the guide. We were told to wait and rejoin our group. Thankfully this was able to happen - the Colosseum was amazing. Our next tour was to the Vatican & St Peter’s Basilica. Was a pricey tour but the promise of a guided tour seemed worth it. There was a time change due to lack of tickets for our original time slot. We arrived but was texted that this would now be a self guided tour - no guide - and no more communication. Was suppose to be a 3hr tour.The time change was to a 4:30pm time slot - had to wait til 4:50pm before entry. Definitely the worst time slot to be moved to as Vatican security starts guiding tourist out by 6:30pm.Tried to communicate with GYG about our dissatisfaction but only got automated responses. We cancelled all further bookings due to our experience with the second tour. Users beware.

If you are gonna download this app please reconsider your decision because you will get scammed for very stupid reasons that don’t make sense. We had a very negative experience with this app.Their local partners does not provide enough information for the activities. This app made the “Not suitable for” feature for a reason. We booked a quad bikes from their local partner and they only said, under the “Not Suitable for” heading, not suitable for children under 16 years old. When we went there the stuff at the quad bike place refused to go ahead with the trip when they knew one of us had a previous back injury and the other had covid-19 symptoms. We have given this app the legal documents that prove we weren’t able to do the activity, yet they still didn’t give us a full refund for the fact that their local partner prepared the things for us that we absolutely didn’t use at all. We also let the app know that their partner didn’t provide enough information before they charged us big money (charged us $630 for 2 people and refunded $256,66). So please please please stay away from this dodgy app, it is absolutely trash they only wanna make money and they absolutely don’t care about their customers at all.

We have been away from New Zealand for two months, and organised a lot of trips through Get Your Guide. I cannot fault them. The communication is amazing, not only to do with our organised trips, but additional possibilities wherever we went also. Prices competitive for tours, you could do same on your own, but you would miss the finer destinations and history explanations, sometimes food and drink also. Go Get Your Guide, we will be back, thank you!
