With this latest update, we have diligently focused on enhancing both the user experience and the final results, aiming to provide a seamless and delightful journey for our users while delivering exceptional outcomes in their photography endeavors. We keep improving the app and try to give you the best possible experience. Here's what we've added to Nightcam in this update after several months of hard work:
- iOS 17 optimization: We've made your camera experience even faster and more responsive with Deferred Photo Processing. Now, you will be able to capture high-quality photos with the smallest possible delay between shots. In addition, we have added HDR display. With the help of high dynamic range (HDR) display, we can display your captured photos with a significantly broader spectrum of light levels in Nightcam. This allows us to showcase images that closely resemble the original scene, making them appear brighter and more vivid. While we've been able to capture high dynamic range photos for quite some time, we were limited in how we could display them. Now, we can render the scene much closer to its original appearance thanks to HDR display.
- The ability to switch Daylight and Night Mode optimize camera settings and post-processing parameters specifically tailored for shooting in bright daylight or captivating night scenes, ensuring exceptional results in any lighting condition.
- Semi-Auto Mode offers a balance between manual control and automated assistance, allowing to anchor specific metrics and achieve precise control over your photography settings.
