The tutorial was very brief and if I hadn’t played the original game I probably would’ve had no idea what to do (I was still decently lost). The combat is really stale for a game that focuses on user controlled input. It’s just swing, swing, jump. Nothing seems to have changed from the original game other than the fact it’s PVE multiplayer combat. Building is somewhat frustrating because you are still controlling the character you play and it’s hard to see the whole kingdom. The UI remains during combat mode and it’s possible to unintentionally open the announcements and it’ll cover your screen for enough time to get pilled on by goblins and die. (Skill issue on my part). I miss being able to choose your kingdom of origin. also appreciate how you can still customise your avatars, though I haven’t found the online gallery yet ( you can upload files from the internet so perhaps thats the alternative)Other than that, the game is only 2 months old. I’m excited for this new PVE approach the developers are taking, it seems incredibly promising. Ive only been playing for 20 minutes so perhaps I’ll unlock more things (very rough start that almost deterred me from the game entirely)I’ll keep playing to see if this game was worth nuking the original
