The closest to a mobile Zelda
takacs93
I think this was a really ambitious attempt to make a wholesome rpg on mobiles and the care from the developers end definitely shows. The world is beautifully crafted and there is enough variety to not get bored by running around. There are some nice puzzles as well and a few collectibles here and there. However, the story, cutscenes and some of the animations are a bit basic, and cutscenes borderline boring. I appreciate that the characters have voices although some of the voice actors don’t really live their roles. And it’s hard for them to do so, since all of the characters seem really flat. The two sidekicks you get are really just there for nothing, skipping battles and dying constantly. I also don’t understand the lack of jumping which made traversal annoying often times. The money you collect is pretty useless since the shops only sell scrap or food. The only time I needed them was at the final boss, I really appreciated the vending machine close by. The Zelda influence is undeniable, not even mentioning the design of the main character who also does not speak like Link, down to the fact that there are bird people and fish people here as well (both worlds have they respective “divine beasts” to beat. It seems like I’m hating this game but that’s not true. I’ve spent 16 hours completing the main story but there’s nothing that would bring me back to hunt down the remaining treasure chests. It’s a cute portable adventure with its flaws, but its a good direction for mobile developers.
Game makes iPhone 11 really hot
rpglover987
It’s 60 fps, and runs good, but after like 10-15 minutes in the world, my i11 starts getting hot, like really hot, it even decreses processor performance and the game starts to stutter. After it cools down a little, the game is 60 fps, and the phone starts getting hot again. The game itself is beautiful, probably the most beautiful game on mobile devices! Only 3 stars, because of the heating issue! Please fix!
Bad game design
Alfonz a Szipus
The endgame is so hilariously badly designed. There is a portal where you can back in time and you have to repeat two ridiculously frustrating motor chase levels. Im so freaking angry right now, how could you make this? Why would anyone want to repeat those levels?
This version introduces performance improvements and bug fixes.
