Hey, Zoom!Thank you for making this wonderful app for us, humans!I have been using this app for 2 years as the covid-19 pandemic was very serious. It is very nice and has high quality. I use this app to keep contact with my primary classmates. Our friendship can’t keep going on without zoom! I hope zoom can add a new function that can change our names before entering the zoom, it will be much better if we don’t need to type our names again and again. Cuz I know a lot of schools need their students to change their names of the correct format.I also hope zoom can be free and no limited time with zooming. My school has 50 minutes per lesson, and my school is poor lol. So we need to enter so many times.And something I want to help the teacher. Zoom should add another function to let the moderator can “force” other people to open cam and mic. There’s always naughty students in every class. They do not answer questions asked by the teacher. And I know they are playing games by splitting the screen that the iOS can do. The others are perfect:)Thanks again, zoom.
Hello Zoom Communication Team, I need help. I’ve been using this app for over 5 years now without many problems, but up until a few days ago, my microphone and camera access has been stripped of and I can’t turn them back on in the settings section. Zoom, the app itself, has sent me any requests to give it access, yet my settings app shows that no apps have asked for permission. I have even tried switching to other accounts to see if it’s any different with no prevail. I redownloaded Zoom multiple times and also updated my IPad, but nothing is working. I even tried opening up the website instead, but still nothing. It’s incredibly disheartening to see and incredibly inconvenient as I still use this app for some online lessons. Without my microphone and camera, I am unable to use this app as it can’t even use have any basic functions for me to have online meetings with others. All I ask for is the app to resend me a microphone and camera permission message, so I can allow access to it in my settings app. I hope this gets fixed soon. Thank you and have a good day.
Why I gave 4 stars because for some reason, I zoom with my friend and they use viral background but I don’t know how so I ask my friend to teach me and they shared screen and say press the 3 dot logo and you will see one called viral background so press it but I don’t see any words is called virtual background.Also sometimes we share screen but it will suddenly say the zoom meating has ended but I ask my friend and they all say I didn’t end the zoom meating! I hope the next update will fix all these bugs!
I used to be able to use zoom smoothly. Organiser of a meeting forward me an ID & password. I simply type in at beginning of meeting & that’s it . However problem started when one unfamiliar organiser who insisted in organising zoom without a password but they need to pre-register my email address etc…. I had to sign into my zoom account (which I haven’t been using for years) and it took me a few times before finding out what to do (luckily I remember my password because your forget password function did not work!) . However thereafter my zoom does not seem to be able to get back to its usual simple mode. An usual organiser forwarded me ID and password and I tried joining …. YOU simply Sid could not connect & even didn’t get to the stage of asking me password.. WHY? How can I fix this please ? Or I should simply STOP using zoom from now on ?

Recently, Zoom continuously displays pop-up messages indicating connection failures, which has caused significant disruption to my online activities.I have thoroughly tested the connection from my end and confirmed that the problem is not related to my internet service. Both mobile data and Wi-Fi networks exhibit the same issue. Furthermore, I have tried switching between multiple devices, including an iPad Air 11 (M2), a Samsung A9, and a laptop, yet the problem persists across all of them.This recurring issue has greatly impacted my ability to attend meetings and complete tasks efficiently. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and provide a solution as soon as possible.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.
Zoom is quite good and it’s easier to operate on an iPad than other people think. The buttons may be different but they still have the same function whichever device you own. I use zoom for class meetings and the audio is great. I can even switch my camera (which is a thing computers can’t do)! I would recommend to others and has really helped me connect with friends around the world during the pandemic :)
