Even though I played the original back in the day, it’s nice to revisit it now without excessive monetization. However, there’s a major bug in the game: the basic dragon isn’t spawning no matter what I try—please fix this. Also, the newly added arcade achievements don’t recognize previous progress. Even though I’ve 100% completed both Sky and Ocean, the achievements don’t reflect that.

This is a very entertaining game and strikes a good balance between achievements and difficulty, giving it that 'just one more go' factor. It's great for killing time on a long journey or similar.it loses a star because i've noticed quite a few bugs, suggesting that it wasn't adequately play tested.1. When people go into the space zoo, they walk over the animal pens and off into space (why are dinos in the space zoo anyway?? Surely that's for alien critters?2. The game sometimes goes dark (ipad) mid way through a run causing me to crash. Very annoying.3. Glitches in the jungle lakes- Z-fighting textures4. Some Buffalos have sonic pressure waves when they are 't charging5. Some new animls are not shown as new when you start a run6. Sometimes iffy collision detection, especially in mountains making the "tame the Twonicorn" mission extra hard compared to the rest of the gameHopefully the developers will see this and fix those in another update.it would be a great FR to be able to share/outfits or rare animals with a friend who also has the game. Also i got all the epic animals quite early in the game, making them not quite so epic?

This is a great game. Instantly accessible, and you feel like you’re progressing every time you pick it up, whether for 5 minutes or longer. The bugs don’t factor in till levels in the Space Zoo. It’s not fun when one of the animals doesn’t appear in the zoo when you catch it. It’s frustrating when the load screen freezes on Mt. Olympus. The occasional bug where you fall off your ride with no obstacle, animal or fire to blame, does feel a bit annoying. That said, if they fix these bugs it’s a 5/5. Easy to pick up and fun for anyone of any age.

Not encountered any of the bugs other reviews mention (maybe they’ve been patched as I’ve only played for a couple of months), and generally a fun game which can be played for a few minutes, or much longer… perfect for a mobile game. Only issue is that this ‘plus’ version for Apple Arcade loses some elements of the original version, such as the ‘Petting Zoo’ which means that a number of event animals are unavailable in this version - so purchasing them with in-game event currency is pointless.
