POPGuide is an interactive destination, mapping and audio app that allows self-guided sightseeing experiences in over 150 cities worldwide. You can enjoy hundreds of points of interest and an array of fascinating itineraries in each city, all in offline mode.

· Distance and estimated travel time available, by foot or by car.
· Point of Interest audio commentary given by native actors portraying famous local historical figures.
· The audio commentary is a mix of fascinating storytelling, nit-bits of trivia you're unlikely to find anywhere else and historical information, and each piece lasts a maximum of 3 minutes.

Battery Usage Disclaimer:
The continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
While enjoying POPGuide outdoors, it will first track your current location then navigate you to the POIs of your choice. To avoid unnecessary GPS tracking draining your battery, make sure that you disable the location function of your device whenever appropriate.
I have an older iphone so it being slow could just be my mobile. The app is great to get around to most attractions, i used it last night for new years to get to the fireworks. The app needs to add tattoo shops.. i give the app 3 stars but apparently it doesnt let you post a review unless u give 5 stars

The audio tour for Athens is quite basic and the clips from most attractions are only 1:30 long, so not a supplement for a tour. Good concept for an app.
