Firstly, no idea what the other reviewer was on about the domestic violence. Like seriously. When I first started playing there was a little “story” so maybe that’s it but I have not had any ads, stories or glitches and I have been playing this game for a couple of years now. It looks like I’m nearly finished it, coming to the end of island space and items to merge,build. I really really hope not. Hopefully there is more to open up in the next few updates. Overall this game meets everything needed in a game to make it entertaining and save off the boredom. You guys hit this one out of the park. Give us more new items and island space and you will have my support for years to come. 100 stars.

I’m currently at Level 2117, and while I really enjoyed the game at first, it’s becoming increasingly frustrating. The pressure to spend money just to keep progressing is intense. I’ve managed to avoid spending too much, but now that I’ve stopped, I find myself failing each level at least twice before I can move on. Winning boosters has become harder, and even when you earn the super bomb—usually after about 10 games—you lose it the very first time, every time. What started as a fun experience has turned into something almost impossible to advance in unless you’re willing to purchase boosters. Not even sure why I keep playing, as I will often lose a level by just one thing left to tick and one item left to get. Most of the games against other players, is a loss as well. So just enjoy the early stages, then dump it.

The game is brilliant, love it. And truly NO ads. I don’t get any reviews who say that there are any. They must think of another similar game. But the game becomes overly hard and frustrating at times, being forced to buy more goodies to continue. I don’t mind paying a little here and there, but I believe I have now spend more than one of the most highly developed games that are over $100. Just a little here and there. I believe that customers who have stayed so loyal to this game, should get much greater rewards now and then, as we have paid paid already our due.

Like so many other games, Matching Story starts out fun then becomes nothing more than a money grab from the developer. I get that developers need to get return on investment, but if that relies on users wasting hours, and multiple attempts, to get through a single level, then that defeats the object of downloading the game in the first place. It’s no coincidence that I often have 899 purple coins and am constantly faced with one item to finish a level. This is nothing to do with skill, but strategic programming with the intent to increase revenue. I refuse to purchase items to get me through levels. I will stop playing for a few days. When I return I know I’ll beat this level on my first attempt. That’s how the algorithm works.
