Nice app to connect your M and download your images. Reviewing and filtering photos is very easy.Sadly, the library doesn’t sync content across platforms, meaning my iPhone library and my iPad library aren’t synced, which i believe is minimum requirement for fluid workflow on the go.I hope the developers will address this issue in the next update.

Too slow to connect. Geotagging unreliable.

I am disappointed by how slow the connection to my SL2 is. How unreliable is the geotagging function; every time I switch the camera off, the app loses connection and I can never tell if it will reconnect or not.. the app needs to be in the foreground in my iPhone for it to work, and I just feel constantly worried that my shots won’t be geotagged at all. For my work the geotagging is essential so for me this is a big disappointment.I’m giving only one star because I hope to bring these issues to the attention of the team, but the app does other things right—while completely missing the mark on two of the most basic and fundamental aspects for me.

Requires full photo library access to work

This seems like a well considered app, which is unheard of in the camera industry. The one major downside is it relies on accessing my entire photo library to work. I’d prefer not to hand over every location I have ever taken a photo since 2007 so I can print on a Sofort.Leica developer team, please read the PhotoKit article titled “Delivering an Enhanced Privacy Experience in Your Photos App” and adjust Fotos to work with limited library access.
