I have been playing music for almost half a century, through two milleniums, since I put the needle on the record as a small child in the 1980s, with my parent’s collection — Young, Dylan, Eagles, all the classics. I have used more computers, screens and devices than most people on the planet. I have collected 100,000s of songs in many different physical and digital forms, over the decades. There is no contest. Music is like “having every song and album [and music video] ever made on one device”. [Not to mention seamless syncing to all your devices.]That is HUGE. The iPod already came close to making that possible, but Music makes a dream reality. With streaming and downloads of what usually feels like 100% of all music ever created by humankind (and of course all the countless spacemen). Almost everything I ever search for is available. It’s as if they have paid for the rights to everything ever made, so that we can enjoy what we are meant to. And I love and appreciate that infinitely. Because it’s never been done before in the history of humanity. As a former DJ, and the biggest music fan I have ever met, there is nothing like being able to play the song I want (and often need), at any time. With an intuitive, yet simple interface, an awesome folder and playlist system, and effortless controls and functions — including playing studio-quality music and high-res music videos on the big screen (TV etc) — in my honest opinion: Music is the best thing to happen to music … ever. Enjoy!
NOT HAPPY!!!

Been using Apple Music for years but today I noticed an huge error with playlists in this music App. After updating to the new iOS 15.4.1 (on Sunday); today (Tuesday) I went to play my regular playlist and noticed that HALF of the songs (from the top to the middle) was deleted out of the playlist! I never change the order of the songs and I don’t never like deleting songs out either. About 50 to 100 songs just disappeared out of that playlist but only after updating to the newest iOS. THANKFULLY they are still purchased and in my library still! But it’s going to be extremely frustrating putting every single song back and trying to remember each placing. This error has never happened in the entire 10 years I’ve used the Music App/Apple iPhone. There is also no possible way for anyone to take over my iPhone at any time so I know that it’s not that.Is there anyway I get the data back from the a few weeks ago? I do not use iCloud and I synced/updated my data to another device before noticed that the iOS removed half the playlist. P.s: I noticed that skipping through the songs now is INCREDIBLY laggy! It takes more than 2 seconds to skip through. Even through just 2 songs and back.
Not happy.

As a user of iTunes since 2005 (previous products much longer) and having around a 100gb of Music, I feel qualified to give fair critique, I think it’s disgusting that albums paid for in full seem to have a shelf life (depending on I’m guessing licensing agreements) Apple fails to notify of these changes and when attempting to listen to these albums sometimes at a much later date, it now says not available in your country or region, it was available when you sold it to me though and I downloaded but now isn’t available and the downloaded also disappear, I see this as theft, and considering Apple now has us locked in, I mean obviously once you have built a substantial music library (and movies etc) leaving for a different or maybe better product becomes unrealistic because of the costs of replacing your whole library, not just the device, I’m tired of these silent but real standover tactics of Apple (and other corporations). The truth is it’s really bad service because we older and long term customers are the founding customers who built your business, the fact you don’t recognise that and pretty well treat us how you please is disgraceful.
Love everything about Apple Music… but…

I haven’t ever used any other music service outside of Apple for over 20 years! Love the intuitiveness, the large selection of music, and ability to find new music through continuous play. But!! Why can’t I favourite a radio station anymore??? I generally want to listen to my local(ish) ABC station or channels I don’t get where I live, and recently, I’m always having to search for them. You used be able to favourite them, or find them in recently played. Maybe I’m just missing something, and maybe it’s not a big deal for most, I just find it a real shame that this is isn’t something that has been maintained. Thanks for your time.Murray
