Karen Movsisyan reposted thisKaren Movsisyan reposted thisToday, we opened up something we’ve been running in production for months: Real-Time Voice Translation SDK for CX Our real-time Voice Translation SDK has been tested in large-scale CX deployments, and it’s now available to developers supporting 60+ languages and built specifically for live conversations. At Krisp, we build technology inside our own products first, validate them at scale, and only then release it as an SDK. Voice translation is one of the hardest problems in voice AI, especially in noisy, real-world customer interactions. I’m excited to see what developers will build with it. Available on Windows, macOS, and Web.

Karen Movsisyan reposted thisKaren Movsisyan reposted thisEight years ago, we started with a simple obsession: make voice AI work better than human ears expect That obsession became Krisp's Voice AI Lab — one of the world's leading voice AI research centers, quietly built in Yerevan, Armenia. From 2018 to 2024, we shipped seven technologies now used by tens of millions worldwide — noise cancellation, on-device turn-taking for voice agents, speech transcription, and more. Technologies most people use without ever knowing Krisp is behind them. Then 2025 happened. In a single year, we shipped three best-in-class breakthroughs: - Accent Conversion — sound like yourself, only clearer - Accent Understanding — AI that truly comprehends every accent - Live Voice Translation — real-time, natural, human This isn't luck. It's what happens when you concentrate rare talent around a singular mission. Armenia has produced world-class mathematicians and engineers for generations. Our Voice AI Lab is where that intellectual tradition meets frontier AI research — one of the most focused collections of Voice AI talent on the planet. We just launched our Voice AI Lab page — experience the technologies firsthand and see why we believe Krisp is building the most compelling voice AI stack in the world. Link is in the comment

Karen Movsisyan reposted thisKaren Movsisyan reposted thisOver the past weeks, we spent time on the ground with our customers and partners in Philippines 🇵🇭 and India 🇮🇳 with Arman, Tony and Vahan. Not in meeting rooms. Not with fancy slides. Just being there with real teams, real agents, real conversations. What really stayed with me was the partnership. At Krisp, we care a lot about engineering excellence. But we care just as much about customer excellence and partnership excellence. We don’t just build great tech and walk away. We work closely with our partners and agents. When they succeed, we succeed. Being on the field helps us understand their reality and support them in a way that actually matters. On a personal note, I was honestly touched seeing agents smile when they realized how accent conversion technology can help them feel more confident especially when speaking with native speakers. And these moments are easy to miss. We’re often chasing growth, results, and numbers. But then you see something simple: technology boosting an agent’s confidence and putting a smile on their face in the middle of a stressful day. That doesn’t show up in dashboards. But it matters. This is what real value looks like. As Davit mentioned we build engineering excellence, customer excellence and partnership excellence! Grateful for the partners we’re building with across borders 🌍 And excited to keep building together..

Karen Movsisyan reposted thisWhat is holding back real-time voice AI? We try to answer this with Davit Baghdasaryan (from Krisp) and Kwindla Hultman Kramer (from Daily).Karen Movsisyan reposted thisVoice AI isn’t just struggling with accuracy; it’s struggling with understanding. I was joined by Klemen Simonic (Soniox) and Kwindla Hultman Kramer Kramer (Daily) to unpack the real-world problems slowing Voice AI adoption, from brittle speech-to-text systems to the architectural limits that keep AI agents from scaling. Here’s what stood out 👇 • Voice AI adoption is slow because real-time transcription still breaks on the most basic parts of a customer call. • Real growth is happening quietly inside call centers, but teams won’t scale until transcription stops causing cascading errors. • Even the top models fail on emails, addresses, and alphanumerics, which are the single points of failure in most B2B workflows. • Consumer-grade demos hide the reality that long, multi-turn conversations still fall apart without rigorous context control. • POC to production fails not because of LLMs, but because engineering teams underestimate context management. • A universal multilingual model can outperform single-language models by transferring entity knowledge across languages. • Mixed-language conversations are the norm worldwide, and current systems break the moment a user switches language. • Latency, accuracy, and cost must be solved at the same time; optimizing only one kills the use case. • Feeding both sides of the conversation into STT gives models more context and improves accuracy. • Domain-specific accuracy matters far more than general accuracy, and most models still fail in specialized environments. • Industry “context boosting” tricks are hacks that break at scale; native learned context inside STT is the only path forward. • Punctuation and intonation directly shape LLM reasoning, and stripping them for speed creates silent failure modes. • Voice AI is shifting from speech-to-text to full speech understanding, and models that don’t evolve won’t survive. • The future points toward fused audio plus LLM architectures that remove the brittle STT handoff entirely. Amazing discussion with two founders pushing the boundaries of real-time voice AI. Thank you both for the insights and perspective!

Karen Movsisyan reacted on thisThis is super exciting! Gal Trapečar from our team built a browser extension that brings Soniox real-time transcription and translation directly into your tab. You can go to YouTube, open a video in any language, and get low-latency translated captions overlaid live in your own language. That means language stops being the barrier. Educational content, interviews, lectures, podcasts, and news from anywhere in the world are now accessible in your language. A lot of people talk about AI changing access to information. This is a very concrete example of it. Soniox supports 3,600 translation pairs. When translation is fast and high quality, the internet becomes meaningfully more open. Proud of Gal for building it. #SpeechAI #RealTimeTranslation #VoiceAI #ChromeExtensionKaren Movsisyan reacted on thisBuilt a small side project with Soniox that turned into something pretty wild: a browser extension that adds real-time captions and translation on top of videos in any tab. Open a YouTube video or a Twitch live stream in any language, choose your target language, and you can follow it live with low-latency translated captions in an overlay. It makes content across languages instantly accessible for non native speakers. Soniox supports 3,600 language pairs, so the reach is massive. Karen Movsisyan reacted on thisKaren Movsisyan reacted on this🚀 One of the most painful problems in real-time conversational voice AI is something almost every serious builder runs into: text normalization in a true stream-in / stream-out setup. Not offline. Not batch preprocessing. Not “clean the text before synthesis.” I mean the real production case — when text is arriving dynamically, generation is already in motion, and the system still has to correctly handle: • numbers • currencies • abbreviations • IDs • mixed structured + conversational text All without breaking flow and without adding latency. Anyone building voice agents knows this is much harder than it sounds. Because in a real streaming system, normalization cannot be treated as a separate convenience layer. It has to work inline, context-aware, and fast enough to preserve the conversational experience. I’m proud to say that starting today, we’re giving early experimental access to this capability in the Async Voice API. With this release, developers can test: - inline text normalization integrated directly into the streaming TTS pipeline - more reliable pronunciation for structured and messy real-world inputs - more natural conversational flow in live voice interactions 🎧 You can hear side-by-side streaming comparisons here: https://lnkd.in/dQ9U3nwT This is still an experimental release, and we want to improve it together with teams building real products in production-like environments. If you’re building voice agents or conversational voice interfaces, I’d especially love to hear from you. 👉 Reach out directly via support@async.com or DM me. #VoiceAI #TTS #RealtimeAI #ConversationalAI #SpeechAI #VoiceAgents #GenerativeAI

Karen Movsisyan reacted on this42 days into my role as Chief Commercial Officer at Krisp, and I got to sit down with Michael Waitze on A Global Tech Podcast Daily to talk about something I've believed for a long time — voice is the interface. Not a channel. Not an option. The interface. For years, the industry tried to engineer voice out of the customer journey. More text. More chat. More deflection. That's backwards. When someone is frustrated, confused, or needs real help — they don't want to type faster. They want to talk to someone. And that conversation needs to be clear, secure, and personal. That's what we're building at Krisp. We talked about our listener-side accent conversion — a global first where we smooth out accented English without replacing someone's voice, emotion or identity. We talked about real-time voice translation breaking down language barriers entirely. We talked about the voice security stack we're developing in our lab right now — voiceprint authentication on both sides of the call, not just the customer but the agent too. And we talked about why all of it runs on device, at the edge, sub-80 millisecond latency, with zero data leaving the machine. This mission is personal for me. I have two kids who are blind — voice isn't just a technology layer for our family, it's how they connect with the world. That's why I joined Krisp. Appreciate you, Michael Waitze, for the conversation and for letting me nerd out. Looking forward to the next one. 🎙️ Full episode linked below. #VoiceAI #CustomerExperience #Krisp #VoiceSecurityKaren Movsisyan reacted on thisAGTP Daily #41 - ChatGPT To Introduce an Ad Business, Jason Lemkin Says AI Agents Easier Than Humans To Work With On today's show: 1. $3B valuation and $760M raised. Here’s how Yotam Segev and Tamar Bar-Ilan achieved this just 3 years in. They didn’t build a startup. They built a defense system for the digital age. Before Cyera became a $3B company, before raising $760M from the best in the game and before defining the entire DSPM category, Yotam Segev and Tamar Bar-Ilan were deep inside Unit 8200 - Israel’s elite cyber-intelligence unit. They were: → Protecting data at a national scale. → They weren’t spitballing startup ideas. → They were running real ops and solving real threats. Years before the rest of us saw them coming. So when they launched Cyera in 2021, it wasn’t a guess. It was a mission - a platform that understands data, not just protects it. 1. Total mapping 2. Real-time visibility 3. Cloud-native security Today? Cyera is trusted by Fortune 100s, is backed by Accel, Sequoia, Redpoint, and is growing at hyperspeed. This isn’t the usual founder story. It’s what happens when military-grade precision meets category-defining execution. And they’re not building noise. They’re building the new normal. - - - - - Who else is building with this kind of depth and clarity? (Image by Ohad Kab - DADA STUDIO x YKC Media )

Bill Gates wrote in ״The Road Ahead"(1995): “We overestimate what will happen in two years and underestimate what will happen in ten.” But in times of rapid change - like now with AI - could the opposite be true? Maybe we’re underestimating the next two years and overestimating how long deep change will really take. What felt like science fiction just months ago is now part of our daily tools. This reality is kicking my learning muscles into gear. It’s a call to stay curious, adapt fast, and expect the unexpected.

https://lnkd.in/ex7j3TEk The AI revolution is transforming every developer into both a Team Leader and an Architect of autonomous agents, shifting human value from manual coding to the strategic orchestration of complex processes. In a reality where a significant portion of development is automated, the key to success is no longer just writing better code, but knowing how to lead an AI-driven team toward the right business outcome.

We ask every client: "𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙢 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙩𝙧𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙫𝙚?" Whether it’s customer service automation, operational efficiency, or predictive analytics, the end user, the human should always be at the center. ✅ We listen deeply to understand business and user pain points. ✅ We analyze data to validate the problem, not to find excuses to build flashy tech. ✅ We build solutions that augment people, not replace them. One of our recent clients came to us asking for an “AI assistant.” But after several human-centered discovery sessions, we realized what they truly needed was a better information workflow and smarter notifications for their support team. Instead of building something trendy, we built something useful and adoption? 95% within the first week. If you're exploring AI but unsure what to build or where to start, let’s talk. Once upon a time, I was part of the Wix Server Guild. While my personal experience in that guild was not a fully positive one, I always believed deeply in the idea behind it. Professional guilds can play a critical role in large engineering organizations - they can create standards, foster knowledge sharing, and act as long-term stewards of quality and craft. That’s why the recent shift Wix engineering shared (link in the comment), unifying the proffesional guilds into one Engineering Guild, framing the guild model as being "shaped by the AI era", feels like the wrong direction to me. In an era where we increasingly expect AI to write a significant portion of our code, professional guilds: frontend, backend, data, automation, DevOps, design - become more important, not less. These guilds should act as gatekeepers of quality, architecture, and best practices, and as leaders of deep technical discussions and brainstorming. AI can accelerate execution, but it does not replace judgment, experience, or accountability. In my group at #Proofpoint, a much smaller engineering organization, we recently launched an engineering guild focused specifically on AI-first thinking, AI skills, and AI-driven projects. That focus makes sense. But if I were leading an organization the size of Wix Engineering, I wouldn’t replace professional guilds with an AI-centric model. I would keep them. Instead, I would ask those guilds to: - Shape how AI is used in day-to-day engineering work - Define standards and guardrails for AI-generated code - Own quality, maintainability, security, and long-term technical health Controlling, reviewing, and evolving AI-generated code requires strong traditional guilds: frontend, backend, data, DevOps - not fewer of them. AI is a powerful tool. But tools still need professionals to wield them responsibly. Thoughts?

New year, new cohort 🤗 Earlier this month, Omer Kalderon welcomed Hub.Shenkar’s newest entrepreneurs to the program, including seven founders from four innovative startups. This specific session covered what it takes to be VC-ready: how to build a deck investors can and want to follow, tell stories that align with investor intent, and position your pre-seed round before the runway forces your hand. Together, we walked through: ≫ What makes a founding story credible versus forgettable ≫ Which slides earn their place in the deck, and which ones dilute your message ≫ How VCs evaluate early-stage companies when the product is still taking shape ≫ The mechanics of pre-seed fundraising that most founders miss until it's too late It was great to meet Orly Lauren Doubinsky, Roy Heyman, Asaf, Linor Brener, Ofek Bar, and Ido Nevo. We’re excited to see where you've taken everything you discussed with Omer by the next meetup. Welcome to the Hub. Tomer Tetro, Roei Zerahia, Alona Barr —---- 👉 Follow State of Mind Ventures (SOMV) for more stories about founders, innovation, #venturecapital, and growth.

Next time you ‘Vibe Code’: (🤫 whispering) Be aware that you aren’t in control of your system, so don’t ever never call it production-ready code, capiche? TL;DR: Wiz Research discovered a critical authentication flaw in the Base44 ‘Vibe Coding’ platform: Attackers could register verified accounts on private apps using only the app_id publicly exposed in app URLs and manifest files bypassing any proper access controls. 🥹

I recently wrote an article for a leading Israeli tech magazine (in Hebrew), expressing my thoughts about why Information Security professionals tend to ignore the increasing security risks that are introduced by Generative AI tools, even though I consider them among the biggest security threats of our time. “𝗪𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝟮𝟱% 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵.” These words come directly from Ofer LaOr, VP Engineering, and Avishay Cohen , Co-founder & CEO at Anima. Anima is a fast-growing tech company serving over 1.5M users. They faced a challenge: rapidly rising cloud costs and the need to scale quickly, all while keeping their team focused on building and innovating. That’s where CloudZone’s Max Squad stepped in. A dedicated team of a Customer Success Manager, Solutions Architect, and FinOps Expert, working side-by-side with Anima to cut waste, streamline operations, and always stay three steps ahead. In just one month, Anima reduced cloud spend by 25%, scaled seamlessly to handle 20× growth in LLM demand, and freed up its engineers to focus on its product and users. You don’t win a city-wide project on the strength of just one feature. You win it by proving you've got everything they need, and that you can run an entire city as one system. Tel Aviv issued an RFP to all major vendors and after a lengthy review, they selected the TIBA X60 hardware line together with the SPARK Parking Platform as the backbone for modernizing their municipal parking network. The scope is significant. More than 60 garages, with new facilities added each year. The project includes: ✅ Upgrading hardware city-wide ✅ Modernizing the command center ✅ Migrating the entire operation to SPARK ✅ Customized developments, deep software integrations, and strict IT-security compliance A city of this scale can’t rely on disconnected tools. They need a unified, resilient ecosystem — one platform, consistent operations, predictable performance, and room to grow. SPARK was built precisely for environments where real-time visibility, reliability, and seamless expansion aren’t “nice to have” but mandatory for future-proofing, growing cities like TLV. And we’re just getting started. #tiba #parking #smartcities #mobility #parkingtechnology

A woman who impacted my career is Yulia Reizer 🇮🇱, my wife. She beat the odds and preferences of most women, by going into STEM, specifically, electrical engineering, and graduated her B.Sc on the Dean's list and with an M.Sc at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. She overcame multiple challenges in her career growth in an industry based on meritocracy. She gave birth to our two boys, and is setting a positive example to them in terms of exercise, diet, and most importantly, education and self-reliance. She's working long nights and weekends to get things done at Marvell Technology. She constantly, and positively, pushes me and us, as a family, forward. The longest track she's on, besides the actual marathons she runs, is personal growth. There's great prices to pay, for both men and women, to advance careers and raise families. I'm proud of the vital work we do in Israel to raise the next generation of successful and resilient people, to lead human kind forward, despite the constant threats. Who is a woman who’s made an impact on your career? #IWD26

Anton Zagrebelny recently spun up a DevEx squad, and together with Amit Einav , Nadav Kaner and Mor Tal - they started shipping some really DOPE improvements to Stigg. So cool that I can't hold myself from posting about them even before they do. Taking all the CREDIT (pun intended). So today, I want to share with you something Mr. Mor Tal was working on last week, which is a public storybook with all of Stigg widgets, including our latest AI Credit Widgets. In simple words, this is a library of UI components you can snap-in to your app experience and save weeks of code building and maintaining yourself. What's has changed is now you can inspect props, states, and behavior without setting anything up. Many ask - "Hang on, Dor - but why do I need Stigg Widgets if AI can code some really DOPE UI in seconds". Well that's a really good question, which the answer to is simple - you don't. You don't need Stigg widgets if all you're shipping right now is the UI itself. For that 100% use AI code gen. BUT If you want the BE of your monetization system and usage metering to always stay in-sync with the customer billing experience or if you want any future change in your pricing/packaging to be a click and not a quarter of a project, than Stigg Widgets are not just pretty and fully customizeable to your brand - they're also smart. Smart in the sense that you don't need to code and sync future changes. They seamlessly get that from our APIs and configs. Cool huh? Awesome work Mor Tal. Check them out at widgets.stigg.io !
