EPIC Community — Partner FAQ
Joining the Community
Who can join EPIC?
EPIC is an NDA community for Microsoft EDU partners. To join, you must be a registered Microsoft partner. The community runs monthly NDA calls, webinars, and events hosted by the EDU Engineering team.
Is EPIC a partner program?
No. Programs define participation requirements and benefits. EPIC is the shared community space where partners participate, stay informed, and engage over time.
Is there an agreement I need to sign?
Yes. A signed partner agreement must be on file to keep your place in PSS and EPIC — you can find it on the EPIC Community Page. Partners without an agreement on file risk removal.
How do I get onboarded as a new member?
Five quick steps to get settled in:
- Introduce yourself in the Welcome New Members channel.
- Open the Monthly EPIC Call channel and add the community calls to your calendar.
- Visit the EPIC Community Page for the meeting list, recordings, and decks.
- Get started with the Partner Success Series (PSS) by earning your first badge.
- Join the Monthly Partner Onboarding Call for a program overview and live Q&A.
Finding Your Way Around
Why did I lose access — and how do I keep it?
Guest accounts are removed after 60 days of inactivity. Log in at least once every 30 days to keep your access active. Having trouble? Email edupss@microsoft.com.
Why can't I see or post in the chat?
This is almost always a tenant issue. Make sure you've switched to the Microsoft tenant — and redeemed your invitation if you haven't yet. If you join without logging into the tenant, chat may be unavailable.
What are the community ground rules?
EPIC is an NDA community: what happens in EPIC stays in EPIC. AI notetakers and bots are not permitted on the calls — please disable any before joining.
Do I need to reapply, and when?
EPIC membership is managed through your membership in the Partner Success Series (PSS) Program or the Global Training Partner (GTP) Program. Reapplication for PSS open July 1st, with new content announced then. Watch for the reapplication email and renew to keep your benefits.
Where do I find my Dev Tenant and enablement tools?
Technical and integration resources are housed within the Authenticated Partner Resource Hub, available after signing in.
