Krafton Inc. may pay up to $250 million, about 35% of its operating profit last year, as the successful launch of Subnautica 2 by its US subsidiary could force the South Korean gaming giant to reward the unit's former shareholders for post-acquisition performance, according to game industry sources in Seoul on Wednesday.
