It is a double celebration, as HBO has once again treated eager fans of the upcoming Harry Potter reboot to an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the series, offering insights from the artists and craftspeople bringing the project to life.
Finding Harry Gets A Trailer And A Premiere Date
Finding Harry: The Craft Behind the Magic will stream on April 5, 2026, on HBO Max. The preview opens with Hogwarts’ Keeper of Keys, Rubeus Hagrid (Nick Frost), leading students through the woods. John Lithgow, who is all set to portray Headmaster Albus Dumbledore, describes the Harry Potter stories as an "extraordinary phenomenon." The trailer features glimpses of the glorious Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Harry navigating Platform 9¾ on his own, the intricate imagining and construction of key elements such as the Hogwarts Express, and the Golden Trio, all becoming a part of this exclusive look inside the HBO Original series.
Janet McTeer, who is set to play Minerva McGonagall, reflects on the grandeur of the Great Hall, where she conducts the Sorting Ceremony. She describes her first time stepping onto the Great Hall set with an emphatic "Wow!"
