Eelgrass Strand is one of the returning mats coming with Grounded 2: Into The Abyss. This aquatic plant grows in the Skunk Pond, Pergola, and Bridge zones, but knowing where to find it and how to farm it are two different things. If you want to create all the new Armor Sets and Weapons in the game, you will need to have Eelgrass Strand (plus a lot of other materials).

How To Find Eelgrass Strand in Grounded 2: Into The Abyss
Eelgrass Strand can be found all around the Skunk Pond and Bridge areas. This tall, green grass needs to be cut using the Omni-Clipper, so let's first take a look at the steps to unlock this new tool in Grounded 2:
- Go to your nearest Ranger Station.
- Enter the Omni-Tool upgrade tab.
- Select Omni-Clipper.
- You will need 1000 Raw Science, 1 Water Boatman Fin, and 1 Wax to unlock Level 1.
Once you have Level 1 of the Omni-Clipper unlocked, you will be able to harvest Eelgrass Strand.
Players can also harvest Eelgrass Strand (and other mats) by using the Toe Biter Nymph Buggy, which can hasten your underwater exploration and serve as the ideal farming companion for Into The Abyss materials.
To find the correct area where you can grab lots of Eelgrass Strand, travel to the Skunk Pond zone, near the Sunken Pirate Ship (the same spot we can visit to get some early Koi Fish Scales).
Alternatively, players can also visit the area around the Bridge zone to get more Eelgrass Strand, plus access another of the sub-aquatic zones in Grounded 2: Into the Abyss.
