Winter has come to Japan in Forza Horizon 6, which means a new season has arrived. As part of the ongoing seasonal challenges in the Festival Playlist for FH6, you can now complete the Ultimate Driving Machine weekly event to earn 25,000 CR and 5 points toward the Winter Season rewards.

There are four challenges required to complete the Ultimate Driving Machine, but you’ll need to get the 2020 BMW M2 Competition Coupé first, which can’t simply bebought from the Autoshow. Luckily, many players might already have one in their collection (which we’ll explain below), while the rest of the tasks are very easy to complete in FH6 as well. Let’s take a look at how to do it all fast and easy.

Forza Horizon 6: How to Get Skill Points Easily

Thinking of the best ways and cars to use for farming skill points in Forza Horizon 6? This essential guide covers everything you need to know!

How to Get and Drive the 2020 BMW M2 Competition Coupé

First things first, let’s get the car we need to drive during the Weekly challenge in FH6. The BMW M2 Competition Coupé isn’t available at the Autoshow, so there’s no point looking for one there (as you might spend credits on another M2 model that isn’t suitable).

Instead, you gain access to one by playing the FH6 campaign and earning the Yellow wristband (Rookie), which is actually the first wristband of them all. This means most of you probably already have the car in your collection, if you haven’t sold or given it away already.

If you have, worry not. Other ways to get the 2020 BMW M2 Comp if you don’t have one include Wheelspin or Super Wheelspin rewards (which aren’t very reliable) or trying your luck at the Auction House.

Naturally, there are tons of offerings in FH6 right now, but demand is also very high. Still, it seems possible to get one relatively easily, though it’ll probably cost you around 250,000 CR for a Buyout, as bidding likely won’t be an option for quite some time.

How to Earn 3 Stars at Speed Traps in the BMW M2

For any of the challenges below, the stock BMW M2 version is enough, so there’s no need to spend extra on tuning and upgrades unless you want to pump up the power and speed. The only recommended upgrade might be Snow Tires (10,000 CR) for better handling, though they do reduce some of the stock stats, so keep that in mind.

The next task is to earn 3 stars from any of the Speed Traps (not Speed Zones) across Japan in FH6 while driving the BMW M2 Comp. There are plenty available on the map, and they’re easy to find by filtering for Speed Traps and picking any you feel like trying.

Fortunately, you don’t need to score all 3 stars at once, which would likely require a substantial upgrade to the car. Instead, hop in and fast travel between several Speed Traps to earn at least 1 star three times and complete the challenge. Pay attention to the pop-up message that appears on screen — it’ll let you know once you’ve finished the task.

How to Take a Photo of Your BMW M2

Next, it’s time to take a photo of your BMW M2 Comp. You can do this anywhere in Forza Horizon 6 by accessing Photo Mode, whether in freeroam or during a racing event (as long as you’re not in an online race).

To open Photo Mode, simply press Up on the D-Pad of your controller (or the P key on your keyboard), then press RB (or P again) to snap a quick shot of the car. This will complete the challenge. Press B on the controller to exit the Photo Mode.

Forza Horizon 6 Edogawa Baseball Stadium Location in Tokyo

However, there’s a way to get the most out of this challenge and knock out another seasonal objective from the Festival Playlist for Winter in FH6. One of the tasks requires you to take a photo of any car inside the Edogawa Baseball Stadium. Do not mistake it for the big stadium in the right corner of the map — the Edogawa Baseball Stadium is actually located in Tokyo city.

Take a look at the image above for its exact location, fast travel there, and snap a photo of your BMW M2 Comp. This will also reward you with the Slide Whistle Car Horn in FH6, as well as grant 2 extra points toward the Winter Season rewards.

Where’s the Soni Time Attack Track in FH6?

The final task for the Ultimate Driving Machine Weekly Challenge is pretty straightforward, too. It simply requires you to drive three laps at the Soni Time Attack Track in FH6.

To find it, look for the dedicated circuit racetrack located directly south of the Takashiro region in Japan (in the upper-left part of the entire Japan map). To make things simpler, you can also filter your map by turning everything off except Time Attack events. You can find the exact location of the Soni Time Attack track above.

Once you reach the track, all that’s left is to drive three clean laps with your BMW M2 Comp in FH6. It can be in any vehicle class you wish, and the stock version is more than sufficient. Be careful not to fly off the track, though, as this might reset your lap progress.

Just like with the 3 stars challenge, you don’t need to complete all 3 laps in a single session, although it’s easier that way. Completing one lap in a stock car takes roughly 1 minute, but you’re welcome to try doing it much faster if you wish.

Keep an eye on the pop-up message that appears once the challenge is complete. Finishing the full Weekly Challenge rewards you with 25,000 CR and 5 points toward the Winter Season rewards, which include exclusive FH6 cars like the 2019 Subaru STI S209 (15 points) and the 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Truck AT37.
