Fortnite: Who is Geno?

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2's live event revealed that Geno was the Visitor and was disguising himself as a member of the Seven to infiltrate their ranks, gain their trust, and manipulate them so he could take control of the Zero Point, while leaving the Foundation and Jonesy for dead.

However, the Visitor's face reveal might be confusing to some of you who are new to Fortnite's expanding lore. After all, the game is 8+ years old, so it's no surprise that you might have missed some of the most shocking lore and characters that could forever change the fate of the game.

Who is Geno in Fortnite? (Geno Story Timeline)

Geno has been a villain from the very beginning of Fortnite, and was originally an ageless king who led the Oathbound (seen in Chapter 4). Geno was able to capture Stellan, a Rift Warden, who Geno used to access rift gates to travel between realities, which is where he found Reality Zero, home of the Zero Point.

Exposure to the Zero Point gave Geno foresight, and he was able to see a vision of the future that showed him how order was needed to protect the omniverse from the Last Reality, an inter-reality empire with the sworn goal of destroying every single reality created by the Zero Point.

In Geno's desperation to save the omniverse, he became just like the Last Reality and created the Imagined Order (IO) as a way to oppress the omniverse by enslaving the Zero Point and creating the Loop in his efforts to perfect every reality his hands could touch.

Geno is also the father of the Imagined and the Order, and his daughters left him to help the Foundation forge the Seven to end his tyrannical rule over the Omniverse.

When the Seven teamed with the Avengers (yes, from Marvel Comics as seen in Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War #5), the Imagined sacrificed herself by forcing both herself and Geno to touch the Zero Point, which caused their bodies to discorporate and scatter across the Omniverse.

Geno's snapshots and remnants managed to transcend different realities to reforge him, and Geno then disguised himself as the Visitor in OG's Reality, where he built a rocket in an attempt to rift into the Chapter 7 Season 1 map. Disguised as the Visitor, Geno joined the Seven.

Disguised as the Visitor, Geno manipulated both sides in Chapter 7, Season 2, and by playing the Ice King and the Foundation, he was able to reunite the Zero Point Shards to reforge the Zero Point thanks to his minion, the Dark Voyager.

This is where Chapter 7 Season 3 begins, with the Foundation missing and Jonesy in a coma, recovering from the gunshot caused by Geno when he revealed himself to be the Visitor. None of the remaining Seven know that Geno is behind the Visitor's mask, and they continue to work together, unknowingly aiding in Geno's master plans.
