The leader of the Seven's fate has been left unknown after the live event in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, but some key clues could indicate whether the Foundation is alive or dead, which we'll explain in more detail below (along with a rundown of what happened to him).

What Happened to the Foundation in Fortnite?
Chapter 7 Season 2's live event was the conclusion of the season-long rivalry between the Foundation and the Ice King. Despite heavy blows from both sides, the Ice King managed to freeze the Foundation, essentially trapping him in ice that would never freeze.
However, the Ice King was quickly betrayed by the Dark Voyager and killed. As for the Foundation, he was vastly ignored by the Dark Voyager and left within his icy tomb. Yet, that doesn't mean it's the end for him, and there are some key points of evidence to prove that the Foundation is alive.
Is the Foundation Dead in Fortnite?
The Foundation is not dead in Fortnite and is presumed alive, but missing. When the Dark Voyager activated the Zero Point, reality kept shifting, and considering the Foundation was frozen directly underneath the Zero Point, it's likely that he's been teleported to another reality (or at least that's my theory).
The end of the Shattered event shows the Foundation's mask washed up on a beach, indicating that he could still be out there. However, the most concrete evidence surrounding the fact that he is still alive comes from the Visitor in Chapter 7, Season 3.
If you visit the Visitor in Shaken Sanctuary, you can ask him about the Foundation, and he will tell you that "The Order is terribly worried about his disappearance after the mission. Wherever he is, I do hope he has learned his lesson." This proves that the Foundation is not dead, but missing.
There's also the behind-the-scenes reality, too. The Foundation is played by Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), and considering his vastly busy schedule with blockbuster movies, it's likely that they've put the character on a temporary pause until they can schedule Dwayne Johnson back into the studio for more voice lines.
Either way, this isn't where the Foundation's story ends, and the Seven are still set to play a huge role in the Chapter 7 storyline, and perhaps even beyond it. Only time will tell what happens next, so keep checking out the weekly story missions to see where things go!
