Fortnite has released cosmetic sets for Tung Tung Tung Sahur and Ballerina Cappucina in the Item Shop, and the items have quickly risen to the top of the best seller's list. Epic Games has done hundreds of collaborations over the years and brought many known franchises, celebrities, and brand names to Fortnite. These crossovers have resulted in the creation of quirky limited-time modes, thousands of cosmetics, and even themed event passes.
While some of these crossovers have been much more intricate and led to fully-fledged event passes with dozens of items that can be unlocked over time, most of them consist of Item Shop bundles and cosmetic sets that players can purchase with a simple click of a button as long as they have enough V-Bucks. Many of the collaborations that have come to Fortnite are from known games, TV shows, or movies, but internet memes and sensations have also made their way to the game due to popular demand. A perfect example of this was the release of Skibidi Toilet cosmetics in Fortnite back in late 2024.
Fortnite Brainrot Skins Climb to the Top Seller's List in the Item Shop
On April 3, popular brainrot skins, Tung Tung Tung Sahur and Ballerina Cappuccina, were released in the shop, and within a few hours, they were among the game's bestsellers. Since brainrot skins were revealed to be coming to Fortnite with the reveal trailer for Chapter 7 Season 2, players were expecting them early on into the season — many even believed they'd be the perfect cosmetics for April Fool's Day. Even though they came out a couple of days later than expected, fans were happy to see them at last and didn't hesitate to buy them. According to ShiinaBR, a well-known leaker in the community, brainrot skins made it into Fortnite's Item Shop's bestsellers list within a couple of hours of their release.
While some players were excited to see their favorite brainrots in-game, others weren't happy to see that Epic Games was bringing AI-generated characters to Fortnite. Artificial intelligence is a controversial topic in the gaming community, but it seems that more game companies are adhering to AI methods, whether as a way to create new, innovative designs or increase productivity.
Even though some fans were unhappy with the release of these brainrot skins, it seems that displeased fans are just a loud minority; otherwise, the skins wouldn't have made it to the top sellers list so quickly. Additionally, brainrot-themed Creative islands are the most successful maps. Steal the Brainrot is currently one of the most played game modes in Fortnite and has been widely promoted on the main page.

Players can get each brainrot skin in Fortnite for 1,500 V-Bucks, and it even includes another item from their cosmetic set. Alternatively, they can purchase the entire bundle, which features all six brainrot items in the Tung Tung Tung Sahur and Ballerina Cappuccina sets, at a discount price of 2,400 V-Bucks rather than the 4,300 V-Bucks they cost separately.
