Saros has landed with a positive bang, but many players familiar with Housemarque's previous game have argued that it's too easy.

Gameplay-wise, they are quite similar, although Saros makes several much-welcome changes, especially with respect to roguelike basics and cross-run progression. This is a bit of a double-edged sword, though, as many players, even those who have largely enjoyed Saros, have called the game too easy. A quick look through the Saros subreddit is all you need for proof of this—though the discussion has already started to morph into something more complicated. This doesn’t surprise me in the slightest, as Saros’ approach to difficulty is actually quite interesting.

Saros Releases New Update for May 2026

Derek Nichols

Games

Sony

PC

Housemarque

Saros

PlayStation

PlayStation 5
