The simplest way to describe 007 First Light is Hitman meets Uncharted. The game blends stealth elements seen from IO Interactive's own Hitman series with the kind of explosive action and set-pieces found in Naughty Dog's Uncharted franchise. It's a combo that works well and ensures a great deal of gameplay variety throughout the adventure, though it does create some notable pacing issues at times.

There may be some disappointed that Forza Horizon 6 doesn't stray too far from the franchise's tried-and-true formula, but I am of the belief that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Following an exciting and explosive introductory race typical of the series, Forza Horizon 6 lets players loose in its take on open world Japan, from the brightly-lit streets of Tokyo to the gorgeous countryside to perilous mountaintops. Forza Horizon 6's map is huge, but dense, and is absolutely overflowing with worthwhile things to do. There's something fun to do around nearly every corner.

Directive 8020 Review

There was a moment early in Directive 8020 when I knew I should turn around. I had already seen enough horror movies to understand how the scene would play out, and every instinct told me nothing good was waiting around the next corner. But that's exactly where Directive 8020 works best. Rather than letting me sit back and judge the crew of the Cassiopeia for making terrible decisions, it put me directly in their shoes as an alien organism capable of perfectly duplicating anything it touches began tearing through the ship, threatening the crew, the mission, and humanity's last hope of survival.

Invincible VS is kind of a weird game. It's the first notable video game adaptation of Invincible, and rather than being a story-driven adventure or action game, it takes the Injustice approach, pitting the IP's recognizable characters against one another in 2D brawls. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream gives players an island paradise that they must populate with Miis of their own creation. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream's Mii creation tools are robust and make it possible to create all kinds of characters. Since the days of the Wii, it's been relatively easy to make a Mii that has at least a somewhat passing resemblance to yourself, and making recreations of celebrities and fictional characters is also a breeze. You might need to follow tutorials in games with more complicated character creation tools, but Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream keeps things simple, and that is to its benefit.

Saros Review

A brand-new IP, Saros stars Rahul Kohli as Arjun Devraj, an enforcer for a company called Soltari that has sent him and his team to investigate the whereabouts of a colony stationed on the strange planet Carcosa. Unfortunately for Devraj, Carcosa happens to be populated by all manner of Lovecraftian-style cosmic horrors.

Vampire Crawlers Review

Following its early access launch in late 2021, it soon felt impossible to escape the pull of Vampire Survivors. The roguelike shoot 'em up's iron-tight grasp on players hadn't waned a bit by the time its full release came at the end of 2022, and the title has since made its way to all major platforms, with a VR version even gracing the Meta Quest. Its retro design and easy-to-understand mechanics made it all but an instant obsession for many, as fans thoughtlessly began "just one more run" before they even realized they had done it. In the newly released Vampire Crawlers, survival is still the goal, but this time, it's all about building the right deck. Developer Luca Galante clearly has a deep understanding of what makes the roguelike genre tick, and the time I've spent with Vampire Crawlers so far has been some of the most fun I've had gaming in 2026.
