Ahead of Invincible VS's release, developer Quarter Up and publisher Skybound Games confirmed that 18 heroes and villains would make up the roster. Among others, Angstrom Levy is one of the most noteworthy characters missing from Invincible VS's roster. It was already a hard pill to swallow that his dimension-hopping powers wouldn't be present in the gameplay, but Invincible VS's story mode actually makes it even worse.
