Fire Emblem saw another entry into its series in 2019 with Fire Emblem: Three Houses. The highly-praised release gave players a chance to choose multiple paths, leading three separate houses through tumultuous missions against a wide array of powerful enemies.

That's not necessarily a bad thing, either. In fact, I'd argue that's part of what makes the genre such an easy buy for an RPG fan like myself. It's already hard enough to put one of these games down when there are generally so many different story routes to take or character builds to try, but when all of that is packed into a game that can take well over 100 hours to fully complete, suddenly you've got something that can keep you busy for a very long time.

Best Games That Let You Build A Relationship With Your Party, Ranked

Eman Fatima

Games

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen

Octopath Traveler 2

Baldur's Gate 3

Persona 5

Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Mass Effect 2

Dragon Age: Origins

RPG
