If it wasn’t one of the rare Nintendo Switch exclusives that I was interested in, I’d deduce whether or not to buy a game on the Nintendo Switch based on if I believed I’d play it in handheld mode, which is not often. If I have the choice of playing something on PC, though, that’s going to be my platform of choice in almost every scenario. I own Hades and Hollow Knight on both Nintendo Switch and PC, for example, and can’t remember when I revisited them on the former.

Lies of P: Overture Proves a Soulslike DLC Shadow Drop is Not Ideal

Jared Stewart

Games

Lies of P

Lies of P: Overture

PC

Xbox Series X

PlayStation 5

Neowiz

Dark Souls

Dark Souls 2

Dark Souls 3

Dark Souls Remastered

Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin

Bloodborne

Elden Ring

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

Elden Ring Nightreign

Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition

FromSoftware

This wasn’t at all out of the realm of possibility, though, as the entry point for Lies of P: Overture was all but spelled out to players when they initially came across it as one of the few unsolved mysteries that the base game left dangling. Moreover, it was revealed long ago now that Lies of P: Overture would be a story-driven prequel DLC, in that it sees P and Gemini travel back in time, and features a boss rush mode.

Biggest Weapons in the Dark Souls Trilogy

Jake Fillery

Games

Dark Souls

Dark Souls 2

Dark Souls 3

Dark Souls Remastered

Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin
