Where to Find the Burning Axe in Fatekeeper
The Atrium in the Ruins Reservoir holds many secrets, one of them being the location of the Burning Axe, a one-handed weapon that can be a game-changer for those trying to use a fire damage build.
To find it, cross the Ruins Reservoir arena room (the one with the horde of enemies, and the same one where you found the Everice Blade).
Eliminate the enemies spawning on the stairs, then keep moving to the left side, then down the next set of stairs. You'll reach a new room with a Lever. Pull it to access a new area flooding with enemies.
Kill the archers first, as they are more annoying than the melee ones. You can also hide behind the columns and bait the melee enemies and kick them off the stairs into the chasm (it will immediately kill them).
Dead By Daylight: The Best DBD Survivor Builds in 2026
These are some of the best builds players can have on survivors in Dead by Daylight as of 2025's gameplay meta.
There are three archers and a Poison Bomb Goblin on top of the platforms (this one can be pulled down using Telekinesis). Once you've dealt with all of the enemies, move across the chasm using the bridge, then look on the left side of the room for a statue. Next to the statue, you'll see the axe lying there in plain sight.
Pick it up to start burning your enemies to ashes. The Burning Axe has 10 Slash damage plus an additional 15 Fire Damage. This, of course, scales with any Perk or item that increases Fire Damage.
Finally, for the piece de resistance the Burning Axe can be used over Spilled Oil or Oil Containers to trigger a burning explosion effect that will send enemies into a scorching death. This will also leave a trail of persistent fire damage that will keep hurting enemies that stand over it.
Did you know? You can examine an item by accessing the inventory, selecting an item, and pressing "I." This will reveal additional information about certain items, increasing their effectiveness or helping players overcome challenging foes.
