Fallout 4's Nuka-World DLC takes players to the titular theme park of Nuka-World, which has since been occupied by a particularly vicious band of raiders. This is one of the few expansions that the game received, and it's arguably the most challenging in terms of gear and level requirements. Similar to the Far Harbor DLC, Nuka-World is set in its own region, featuring plenty of stuff to collect, places to explore, and quests to experience, and if you want to know how you can reach this bandit-infested theme park in Fallout 4, here's what you need to know.

Technically, you can start the Nuka-World DLC at any point in the game. All you need to do is go to the Nuka-World Transit Center. You can find it directly to the west of ArcJet Systems, the same place where you do the Call to Arms quest with Paladin Danse.

Now, while you can definitely try going to the transit center early in the game, we strongly advise against it. The area is occupied by some high-level Gunners, including an Assaultron and a named commander NPC, both of which can send you back to your last save file in the blink of an eye.

When Should You Start the DLC?

The recommended level for starting the Nuka-World DLC is 30. The moment you reach this point, your Pip-Boy will pick up a radio channel named Nuka Cola Family Radio. If you tune in to this, the All Aboard quest will automatically start, and it will lead you straight to the Nuka-World Transit Center.

At this point in the game, you should have enough firepower to take on the Gunners as well as everything else that Nuka-World has to offer, including new and returning creatures like GIant Ants, Bloodworms, and bipedal Gatorclaws.

What's New in the Nuka-World DLC?

There are new things for just about everything, from weapons and armor, to enemies, clothing, NPCs, junk, and more. The Nuka-World Amusement Park itself is the star of the show. The playable area here is huge, but not quite as big as Boston. It's separated into several sectors, with each one featuring different themes and biomes.

Nuka-World's story is all about the various raider gangs in the theme park and the power struggle between them. Players can choose to destroy the gangs and prevent a possible incursion into the Commonwealth, or they can act as the Overboss of Nuka-World and lead the raiders themselves.
