Eleceed 403: Epic Jiwoo vs. Jurion Duel Consequences & Story Predictions

Eleceed has reached a point of maximum tension during the latest episodes, with the battle between Jiwoo and Jurion finally reaching an epic conclusion. With Jiwoo becoming more than Jurion bargained for, surprising even his master, Kayden, and all the witnesses of the duel. Power spike aside, most fans have finally discovered the reason behind the name of the Manhwa (Electric Speed), and that's awesome. and all but, where is the story going now?

A Brief Recap of Eleceed Manhwa Chapters 401 & 402

At the peak of Episode 401, Jiwoo learns why Jurion kidnapped Jisuk and experimented on him with the Eclipse drug: It was a petty revenge just to piss off Jiwoo and get payback for not getting the attention of Jiyoung (who is currently going out with Jiwoo).

At that point, something broke inside Jiwoo: The fight was no longer an honor duel, and the beast inside him awakened. In an absolutely awesome display of skill, Jiwoo executed not one, not two, but three consecutive Zero-Impacts on Jurion, who remained helpless and unable to contain the onslaught.

The finishing move was a point-blank Electric Spear (the same move Kayden pulled up against Iodore) that blew up Jurion's arm and finished the fight in the blink of an eye. His massive growth is probably the result of all that hard training under Pluto and Kayden.

Kayden, Karstein, and Pluto observed in shock at the monster they've created, as Jiwoo pronounced a clear statement: No one hurts my friends. Everyone present got the message loud and clear, and the Trio of Top rankers removed themselves at the behest of the patriarch, who one-sidedly declared the duel as won by Jiwoo (yeah, no kidding) and banished his grandson to a 10-year isolation penalty.

But Jiwoo has sustained heavy damage during the fight and fainted. Kayden, Pluto, and Karstein rush to try to save Jiwoo before it is too late, since he has depleted all his energy and tapped into his very life to destroy his opponent.

After a full episode of everyone concerned and the timely intervention of Gestella, who managed to join Kayden and Karstein to stabilize Jiwoo's core, a heartfelt reunion between Jiwoo and Jiyoung finally happens.

"I won," He proudly states. And damn right he did! Now, dealing with the aftermath of the fight will be really troublesome, as Kayden's disciple has defeated one of the Top Rankers' disciples. This has put an even heavier strain on the already tense relationship between the major powers of the Awakeners' World. And you know how the saying goes: Something's gotta give in.

Now, the important question here is: Is Jiwoo finally becoming a major superpower through sheer effort? And more importantly, is Jiwoo becoming scarily similar to Kayden in both power output, speed, and combat style?

True, their master/disciple relationship was always special in this Manhwa, but Jiwoo has not only two, but three masters (Pluto, Karstein, and Kayden). All of them have imprinted their Force Control on Jiwoo, and the results are easy to perceive. So, that's why Jiwoo is so broken: He's walking the paths of max attack Power, Max Speed, and Max Endurance, plus the ability to regenerate.

Eleceed Chapter 403 Full Review: What Will Happen From Now On?

Episode 403 brought a heartfelt re-encounter between Jiwoo, Jisuk, and friends, and also brought a moment of respite after one of the most hardcore battles in the history of the Manhwa.

Jiwoo and Jisuk are both recovering from their wounds, both physical and emotional. Meanwhile, a question remains: What's going to happen from now on?

The main problem will be that the Top 10 are divided into five major factions:

• The first is composed of Kayden and company (even though most of them are unofficial rankers and Top 50 rankers).
• The second are the folks from Frame (Suffrey, Schauder, and Andrei's Disciple).
• The third is composed of the rogues Greg and Mioru, the ones who hurt Kayden and forced him into his 'Cat Shape' back at the beginning of the Manhwa.
• The fourth are Iodore, his disciples, and Garath, who are constantly conspiring to defeat Kayden.
• And the last remaining powers are those of the free Factions, to whom Gestella and Veramonte (Jurion's Grandpa) belong to. Even though Gestella is leaning on Kayden's side, and that's a problem, since it will eventually cause an open conflict between all the superpowers.

With all that in mind, let's begin a savage session of speculation about what could become of Jiwoo and company in the upcoming arcs of Eleceed.

Jiwoo's debut in the Top Ranking scenario has caused a lot of stir. The problem with this is that alliances are bound to happen, since everyone is scared of him becoming like Kayden (and for a damn good reason). Greg and Mioru will probably link with Iodore and Garath in their endeavor to end Kayden and absorb his Force Control.

The folks from Frame are probably linked to Veramonte's grandson, Jurion, who used Eclispe to experiment on Jisuk. I totally see a hostile takeover and Veramonte's house falling from within, with Jurion as the leading traitor.

Both situations are extremely possible, and in the end, it will be an all-out battle between what remains of House Patrick, with Ian leading the survivors of the coup d'etat.

So that's more or less what could happen from now on. Again, this is mere speculation, so readers should take it with a pinch of salt. Predicting the outcome of plots is not always so easy as it seems, but if we analyze episode 403 and the events that lead to the conclusion of the Jurion Vs. Jiwoo Duel, it might be just the direction this story will take from now on.

Of course, Jiwoo will have to be extremely careful from now on, as he has sustained enormous damage and almost died during the last battle. But, as things are going with Eleceed, Jiwoo is going to have to mature really, really fast.

That wake-up call of Episode 400-401, learning that the world of Awakeners is filled with selfish people like Jurion has become the catalyst for Jiwoo's transformation into an absolute beast.
