The Duskbloods are upon us, and FromSoftware's first title since Elden Ring Nightreign will soon be in the hands of Nintendo Switch 2 players. If you want to play it before anyone else, then you can sign up for the Network Test, which will take place on August 21-23. Below, we'll help you complete the Network Test sign-up and guide you through the quick and easy fix for the error message that pops up during the application process.
You have from July 22 (Wednesday) at 7 AM PDT to July 28 (Tuesday) at 6:59 AM PDT to apply for the Network Test. You will find out if you are chosen to participate via your email on August 7 (Friday) at 6 AM PDT.
How to Apply for The Duskbloods Network Test
- Apply via the official network test website here: NetworkTest - The Duskbloods.
When asked to "Link Nintendo Account", click the link on-screen to be redirected to log into your Nintendo Account. Make sure you use the email/sign-in ID associated with your Nintendo Switch 2 console and the account you want to play the Network Test on.
Instead of clicking "I agree," you must first click the "View/Edit" button on the "Information shared with this service" screen. This will then allow you to tick the "Country/region setting" box. If you fail to tick this box, you will recieve the error message that was preventing you from progressing further.
Finally, continue through the process and enter your full name, age, email address, connection type, and FromSoftware history (select multiple titles, none, or all. Either way, it won't impact whether you're picked for the Network Test). After you hit "Review Submission" and "Agree to Terms of Use and enter," you will complete the application process, and you should check your email on August 7 at 6 AM PDT
The application process is not a random selection, and is instead based on the order of players who applied. So, the earlier you apply, the more of a chance you have of being selected for the Network Test!
Who Can Access the Duskbloods Network Test?
Only players with a Nintendo Switch 2 console and an active Nintendo Switch Online membership will be able to participate in The Duskbloods Network Test. Failing to have either of these things will make you ineligible to participate in The Duskbloods Network Test.

- August 21, 2026 (Fri.) 7 PM to 11 PM PDT
- August 22, 2026 (Sat.) 11 AM to 3 AM PDT
