Moonlighting As A Hero Quest Guide In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To trigger Moonlighting as a Hero quest in DDV, use Dreamlight to unlock the Hercules realm door. Next, approach Phil and speak with him. He asks for help as the island is shrouded in darkness and filled with dark thorns. Upon discovering offering gifts to the gods is the answer, Phil urges you to look for Artemis' lost moon headband and put it on the altar.
That won't satisfy the goddess entirely, so Phil sends you around the area again to look for some materials in the wilderness to offer in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
- The Greek Clay can be dug up from near the pond.
- The Greek Flowers are on either side of the pond, a bit deeper in the forest.
- The Sylvan Wood looks like the normal tree stump obstacles that can be shoveled up.
After the goddess blesses the moon headband, take it from the altar and wear it to gain the ability to remove dark thorns. You can also interact with other altars to light up the island.
Remove the row of dark thorns to reach the training course. Phil doesn't completely trust you to find Herc as it's dangerous out there. Complete the obstacle course by using the correct royal tool to clear the way while collecting the coins if desired.
Once Phil is satisfied, head out together to remove the remaining dark thorns and light up the Artemis altars. There are a lot of altars along the way, so make sure to light them all up to remove some of the darkness shrouding the island.
Eventually, you will stumble upon Hercules at the end of the island. Nobody can reach the temple on the other side as there's a storm brewing, and you need to find a way across. This is the last step in Moonlighting as a Hero quest in DDV and the Speedrun Crash Course quest triggers immediately after.
