How To Harvest Something Sweet In DDV (Disney Dreamlight Valley)
To harvest something sweet in Disney Dreamlight Valley, plant some sugarcane to harvest the crops once they have grown. Sugarcane is an ingredient, and you can buy it as seeds from Goofy's Stall at Dazzle Beach or as ready-to-use. However, to complete the Harvest Something Sweet task, players must buy seeds and plant them. Purchasing the ingredients will not finish the task.
Thankfully, it doesn't take that long for the Sugarcane to grow, as it only requires seven minutes. If you are planting on Dazzle Beach, the ingredient takes even less time to sprout, as this is its original place. This is also applicable to any other ingredient.
The Godly Glamor Star Path asks Dreamers to harvest 50 Sugarcanes to finish the Harvest Something Sweet task. Since it's a lot of crops, you have to dig around a lot. Additionally, there's not that much space on Dazzle Beach, so it might be better to plant it somewhere else, even if you are sacrificing almost one less minute.
Sadly, having a gardening companion will not make it easier, as it doesn't count towards the Harvest Something Sweet task. But you can take it as an opportunity to gather some extra ingredients. Try selling some if you're short on money or simply stash it in your storage to use in recipes.
Another great way to quickly complete this task is by crafting any of the available Growth Elixir. You will need some Vitalys Crystals, Rich Soil, and Dreamlight to make it. But once you use it in the watering can, any newly watered crops will instantly mature and become ready for harvest. The Miracle Growth Elixir is good for 20 crops, while the Even More Miraculous Growth Elixir works for 50 crops, so maybe craft the latter to save materials.
Completing the Harvest Something Sweet task in the Godly Glamor Star Path rewards 15 Lightning Tokens, which is not that much compared to the effort.
