Diablo 4 has just announced an official collaboration with Doom: The Dark Ages. This upcoming Diablo 4 x Doom crossover will include the game's "most expansive earnable Reliquary yet," according to Blizzard, along with several in-game Shop items inspired by the frenetic first-person shooter.

This Doom crossover will occur as part of Diablo 4's 'Season of Slaughter,' which will begin on March 11, 2026. The 12th season of Diablo 4, the Season of Slaughter is bringing another heap of new content to the action-RPG, including new unique Bloodied items, the ability to temporarily transform into The Butcher, and a new Killstreak power. Diablo 4 Season 12 will also let players try out the Lord of Hatred expansion Paladin class for free up to level 25.

  • Begins March 11

Beginning on March 11, 2026, Diablo 4 will be hosting a Doom: The Dark Ages crossover. From this date, all players will be able to access a Doom: The Dark Ages Event Reliquary that boasts a total of 10 rewards. Each of these rewards can be earned for free via 'Dark Ages' currency, which can be obtained by defeating Elite and Champion monsters. These solely cosmetic rewards will give a handful of Diablo 4's weapons a Doom: The Dark Ages makeover, such as turning a regular shield into Doom's Shield Saw, and giving a melee weapon the appearance of Doom's Slayer Flail.

Claiming all rewards in the Diablo 4 x Doom crossover Event Reliquary will grant players the Forsaken Gates Town portal. Killing Lair Bosses during this upcoming Diablo 4 crossover also has a chance to drop a special Doom Chest which contains existing Unique weapons that have been given the appearance of Doom's Crucible blade.

Three Doom: The Dark Ages-inspired Emblems will be available to claim for free in the days following Diablo 4 Season 12's launch. On March 11 at 12pm PT, players can claim the Dark Before Dawn Emblem. On March 13 at the same time, players can grab the Grandeur of the Gutted Emblem. And finally, on March 15, players can get the Rip and Tear Emblem.

Of course, the most substantial items in this Diablo 4 x Doom collaboration are only available in the in-game Shop. Starting from March 12 at 12pm PT, Diablo 4 players will be able to purchase a handful of skins that transform their character and mount. While the Doom Slayer armor skins were originally miscommunicated as usable across all of Diablo 4's character classes, this is not actually the case. The Mecha Dragon Serrat mount skin can only be used with Diablo 4's cat mount. Prices are as follows:

  • Doom Slayer Armor Pack (Praetor armor skins for all seven classes): 5,700 Platinum, or $49.99
  • Praetor of Tharsis (Barbarian armor skin): 2,500 Platinum, or around $24.99

Doom fans will also be able to purchase a Cacodemon pet. There's been no official word from Blizzard regarding the price of these Diablo 4 x Doom cosmetics.

One of the last major crossovers Diablo 4 hosted was its Berserk collab back in May 2025. Though the items included in this crossover were praised for their detail and authenticity, Blizzard came under some fire due to the pricing of the cosmetic armor sets. Purchasing every Diablo 4 x Berserk cosmetic would have set players back around $150, with each class-specific outfit and mount skin costing about $25.
