The Enclave of Darkness is a Capstone Dungeon in Diablo 4 that can be found in Scosglen. Specifically, it's just south of Cerrigar, in the Westering Lowlands region. This dungeon is required to progress past the third page of the Seasonal Journey tab, and by completing it, not only will you get access to the other Seasonal Journey pages, but you'll also get quite the generous shower of rewards as well. Here's where you can find this dungeon in Diablo 4, as well as a quick guide covering the tricks and gimmicks you can expect inside.
How to Get Escalation Sigils in Diablo 4
Nightmare Escalation Dungeons are some of the best endgame activities you can complete in Diablo 4; here's how to get Escalation Sigils to open them.
Diablo 4 Enclave of Darkness Location
The Enclave of Darkness is due south of Cerrigar, close to Demon's Wake and the neighboring Firebreak Manor Waypoint. You can directly teleport to this Capstone Dungeon by doing the following:
- Open your Season Journey menu.
- Navigate to the third page of challenges.
- On the right side, press the View On Map button above the Capstone Rewards section.
Do the above, and the map will automatically open with Enclave of Darkness right in the middle. Thankfully, you don't need to go to the dungeon itself either. By clicking on the Diablo 4 Enclave of Darkness dungeon map icon, you can instantly teleport to it from anywhere.
Take note that the Enclave of Darkness can only be challenged on Torment 1 difficulty, and you need to be at least level 70 to enter it. Make sure that you're on Torment 1 by visiting any of the Difficulty statues in cities like Temis and Kyovashad. If you don't have Torment 1 unlocked yet, go to the Artficer's Obelisk in Cerrigar or Temis, and complete a Tier 10 run.
The Enclave of Darkness itself is a Torment 1 dungeon. Even if you change the difficulty to something higher, you will always face this dungeon at T1.
Diablo 4 Enclave of Darkness Guide
Like the other Capstone Dungeons, your goal in Enclave of Darkness is to slaughter a boss waiting for you at the very end. However, this dungeon has a notable gimmick: once you make it to the end of the First Khazra Outpost inside Enclave of Darkness, the entire dungeon will become dark, and you'll be forced to use the many Luminaries scattered around the place if you want to navigate the area.
Personally, I opted to skip the Luminaries and just bulldoze my way through everything in the dark. Use your map to bounce from one Luminary to another, and you can see your objectives from there too. Any Diablo 4 build that can survive in Torment 1 should be more than capable of throwing all caution in the wind while doing this dungeon — remember, being surrounded means you can attack in every direction.
Completing this dungeon unlocks the next Season Journey page. It will also reward you with an Archetype Cache, some crafting materials, an XP book, and bonus Skill Points and Paragon Points for all of your characters.
