In the first movie, the likes of Shinobu and Giyu took center stage among the Hashira, with the former fighting Doma, and Giyu proving to be an essential cog in Akaza’s defeat. After the amazing performance of these two, we can’t wait to see what the other Hashira can do, and Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2 will deliver just that when it finally drops in 2027 — proving once and for all that Gyomei Himejima is the strongest among the Hashira.

Gyomei is the most experienced Hashira, and one of the few who have access to the Demon Slayer Mark, the Bright Red Nichirin, and the Transparent World. With him set to play a major role in the upcoming Demon Slayer movie against Kokushibo, he will officially be recognized as the strongest Hashira. His exploits won’t stop in the second movie either, as he will be a major fighter against Muzan in the final Infinity Castle movie, which will finally drop the curtain on the franchise.

Gyomei is set to be one of the four Demon Slayers to take on Kokushibo, the Upper Rank One Demon who boasts tremendous strength. Among the Hashira, his powers definitely stand out. As the oldest of the lot, he is the most experienced, and it will certainly show in Infinity Castle Part 2.

Against Kokushibo, he is tipped to make use of his superior strength, which is officially stated to be the best among the Hashira. Gyomei’s Stone Breathing and physical prowess are such that even Kokushibo can't help but call him the strongest warrior he has encountered in the last 300 years. This is further supported by Tanjiro and Inosuke, who have previously referred to Gyomei as the strongest of the Demon Slayer corps.

Gyomei is also one of the Few Hashira with the Demon Slayer mark, the Bright Red Nichirin, and the Transparent World. In Demon Slayer, Gyomei is one of the few characters to possess all three of these abilities: the Demon Slayer Mark, the Bright Red Nichirin, and the Transparent World. Among the Hashira, only Muichiro and Obanai are able to use these three powers as well. While Muichiro can use them, he’s far less experienced than Gyomei. Obanai also has less experience, and could only use the Transparent World for a very brief moment in the final arc.

We can’t wait to see Gyomei’s action brought to life in Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2. With the movie officially on the way and confirmed to be under production, fans may be wondering when it will finally hit theaters. For now, Ufotable has not provided an official release date for Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 2. However, reputed sources have already confirmed that the movie is set to come out in 2027, potentially around the summer.

With Jump Festa coming in December, and Demon Slayer getting its own stage, Infinity Castle Part 2 is bound to get a new trailer that showcases Gyomei’s power, as well as a confirmed release date later this year.
