The Golden Knotted Ancestral Bow is one of the most secretive weapons that players can find in Crimson Desert. While it's not the best bow to obtain, it's still one of the most fun, specifically because it puts you through a unique trap-filled encounter like you're Indiana Jones.

You can find the Golden Knotted Ancestral Bow in the top northern part of Pailune, inside the secret Pailune Ancestors' Ruins. Below, we'll share the exact location and the traps you need to watch out for so you don't die in your quest to obtain this bow.

Where to Get the Golden Knotted Ancestral Bow in Crimson Desert

  • The Golden Knotted Ancestral Bow can be found inside the Pailune Ancestors' Ruins, which is located north of the first "i" in "Silver Wolf Mountain."
  • We've tagged the exact location in the map image above so you won't get lost.
  • In the wooded areas of Silver Wolf Mountain, you'll find a hatch on the floor when facing north (which is also showcased above).
  • Once you enter, drop down the ladder to enter the Pailune Ancestors' Ruins, but be careful, this area is filled with traps, and we'll guide you through them below.
  • As soon as you drop down the ladder, head forward, and be quick, as the floor will collapse and you might fall into lava.
  • Approach the door to open it, and you will then find a room with spinning blades that will move left to right. Wait for them to stop, then dart to the end of the room.
  • There are now three platforms you need to jump to, which is made easier with Precision Jump, which is activated by holding L1/LB, aiming where you want to jump, and then pressing Square/X. Watch out for the braziers, which will sway from left to right.
  • When you reach the dead end, jump and triple Force Palm (R3) to climb the wall, where you will be met with a closed door.
  • Enter the door simply by approaching it, and you can find the Golden Knotted Ancestral Bow on the floor as your prize.

  • The fully upgraded Golden Knotted Ancestral Bow will have an Attack of 35 and a Critical Rate of Lv 1.
  • Out of all the bows we've found, these stats are a tad underwhelming, especially with the Critical Rate addition.
  • What aids the Golden Knotted Ancestral Bow is the 5 Abyss Gears that you can use, meaning there's plenty of potential.
  • Explosive arrows and infinite arrows can make any bow a great choice, and the Golden Knotted Ancestral Bow is quite the experience to collect, so it's up to you if you want it.

Remember, for the most part, the bow does not matter, but the arrows and Abyss Gears do. Explosive arrows and the best bow build can be found with this guide.
