The students of Class 1-A were the main focus of My Hero Academia, and they all became Pro Heroes after graduating from U.A. High School. In the eight years since graduation, most of Class 1-A has made it onto Japan's Hero Billboard Chart. Most of them are in the top 50, but a few have made it into the top ten.

Professional Hero rankings take multiple things into account, including the Hero's overall strength, their popularity, how many incidents they respond to, and their overall contributions to society. Some students are ranked much higher than others, but they are all competent Heroes. Class 1-A's students put in a lot of work to get where they are now, and as a result, Villain activity is way down.

17 Minoru Mineta

  • Pro Hero Name: Fresh-Picked Hero: Grape Juice

Given his short stature, perverted mind, and hysterical behavior under extreme stress, it was hard to imagine Minoru becoming a full-fledged Pro Hero. It also did not help that his Pop Off Quirk felt very weak, as it simply produced removeable sticky balls on his head. That said, Pop Off is one of those weak Quirks that would be overpowered if it awakened, because it has the power to restrain others.

Minoru proved all the naysayers wrong by graduating with the rest of Class 1-A after the Final War. After graduation, he became one of Mt. Lady's Sidekicks, which is not surprising given how attractive she is. He now runs his own agency, and is currently Japan's No. 108 Hero.

16 Denki Kaminari

  • Pro Hero Name: Stun Gun Hero: Chargebolt

When Denki began his Pro Hero training at U.A. High School, he could not control his Electification Quirk properly. He could not discharge his body's stored electricity in a specific direction. This issue was resolved with his Sharpshooter support gear. Denki can target a single person, or electrocute multiple people at once, but his brain will short circuit if he discharges too much electricity.

Denki was not bright, and he often became distraught during stressful events, which is why he accidentally discharged electricity instead of thinking things out. Luckily, he overcame this during the Paranormal Liberation War when he jumped to the front of the line to nullify a Villain's electirical Quirk. Denki is now an independent Hero, and has risen to the No. 44 Hero rank while frequently teaming with Kyoka.

  • Pro Hero Name: Stealth Hero: Invisible Girl

For the majority of My Hero Academia's story, no one knew what Toru looked like because her Invisibility Quirk made her entire body invisible. She was basically just a pair of gloves and boots. That said, her cheerful and bubbly personality makes her one of the MHA's best female characters. She finally got her time to shine in the Final War when she defeated Kunieda with help from Yuga.

Toru became an independent Pro Hero after graduation and accepted Yuga as her Sidekick after he became a Pro Hero on his own. They have become a popular duo because they perform light shows with their Quirks. Now that Toru shows her face more, she has become the face of several makeup products. With all this notoriety, she has become Japan's No. 39 Hero.

14 Hanta Sero

  • Pro Hero Name: Taping Hero: Cellophane

Hanta was one of Class 1-A's more sociable students, and he often got loud while trying to impress his peers. He is a very laid-back guy, and he has a great deal of confidence in himself. He will also give it his all, even when he knows the chances of success are virtually non-existent. He did not mind teasing his classmates either.

Hanta has tape dispenser-like organs in his elbows thanks to his Tape Quirk. As a result, he can shoot adhesive tape to grab objects and set up sticky traps. He can use the tape to restrain others, and he can swing long distances with it. Hanta has become a popular independent Hero since graduating, as he is currently ranked No. 36.

These body manipulation quirks aren't just for show. Here's a look at how they rank.

13 Tsuyu Asui

  • Pro Hero Name: Rainy Season Hero: Froppy

Tsuyu is known for being calm and composed, even during the most stressful situations. She has a tendency to be brutally honest, but she genuinely cares for her classmates. Thanks to the Frog Quirk, Tsuyu has a frog's physiology, meaning she can stick to walls, camouflage, hop long distances, and extend her tongue. She uses her to tongue for attacks, but she rescues people with it too.

Tsuyu may not be one of Class 1-A's strongest students, but she is a competent fighter and Hero. She remained a Sidekick for a few years after graduating, but has since become independent, opening an office near her parents' home. She sometimes acts as a guest lecturer at U.A. High School, and often visits elementary schools with Ochaco to offer Quirk counseling to children. All this work has earned Tsuyu the No. 34 Hero spot.

12 Mashirao Ojiro

  • Pro Hero Name: Martial Arts Hero: Tailman

Mashirao did not receive much screen time, which is a shame because he was basically the Rock Lee of My Hero Academia. Unlike many of his classmates, Mashirao was not fond of the spotlight and came off as "plain", but that has not stopped him from becoming Japan's current No. 32 Pro hero. He accomplished this while also having one of the least impresive Quirks in the series.

The Tail Quirk simply gives Mashirao a long, muscular tail that he can use as an extra limb during hand-to-hand combat. Luckily, Mashirao happens to be a gifted martial artist, which means he can hold his own in most one-on-one fights. Aside from Pro Hero work, Mashirao wishes to open his own dojo to help teach others self defense.

11 Kyoka Jiro

  • Pro Hero Name: Hearing Hero: Earphone Jack

Kyoka comes off as cold and indifferent, but she has a sensitive side, which is hard to believe since she enjoyed teasing some of her classmates, especially Denki. She was the most talented member of Class 1-A when it comes to music, so it is not surprising that she also became a musician after graduating. She teaches Eri how to play guitar as well.

Kyoka becomes Japan's No. 30 Pro Hero after going independent, and her office is located right next to Denki's, which has caused many to believe they are dating. Kyoka lost her left ear while fighting All For One, who was arguably the strongest character in the Final War Arc, but she has since acquired a prosthetic ear that allows her to use her Earphone Jack Quirk properly.

10 Mina Ashido

  • Pro Hero Name: Ridley Hero: Pinky

Mina looks like an alien, but she is very much human. The pink skin is a byproduct of her Acid Quirk, which causes her body to produce a highly corrosive liquid. Mina can adjust the strength of her acid to make sure it does not kill other living beings, but at maximum strength, it can melt through metal and burn the body of a durable behemoth the size of Gigantomachia.

Mina is a naturally cheerful and energetic person, so it makes sense that she would connect with young people. It helps that she participates in major dance events when she is not on duty. This popularity is part of the reason why she is currently the No. 28 Pro Hero.

9 Ochaco Uraraka

  • Pro Hero Name: Antigravity Hero: Uravity

Ochaco is arguably My Hero Academia's most popular female character, which makes sense since she is the series' primary female protagonist and Izuku's love interest. She is one of anime's best gravity users because her Zero Gravity Quirk allows her to make anything weightless. Ochaco has always been inspired by her classmates, and she has the ability to empathize with Villains.

Ochaco looks up to Thirteen, which explains why she has a preference for rescue missions. She can still fight Villains if she needs to. When she is not on active duty, Ochaco runs a free-access Quirk counseling initiative for students to help them before they become Villains. Her work has helped cause a sharp decrease in Villain emergence, making it one of the most important initiatives in modern history. All this hard work has paid off, as Ochaco is currently ranked No. 24.

8 Momo Yaoyorozu

  • Pro Hero Name: Everything Hero: Creati

Momo was Class 1-A's vice class representative, and other than Shoto, she was the only student who made it into U.A. High School through official recommendation. When she began her Pro Hero training. Momo really doubted herself, despite having a genius-level intellect and one of the strongest reality altering Quirks, but she eventually overcomes this insecurity and becomes Japan's No. 19 Pro Hero.

Thanks to Creation, Momo can create non-living physical objects with her fat cells. The sedative she created helped to stop Gigantomachia's rampage during the war with the Paranormal Liberation Front. Momo now uses Creation to conduct research that helps society on a global scale, and she helps Ochaco with her Quirk counseling initiative.
