Chainsaw Man Part 2 abruptly ended with the manga’s War Devil arc in Chapter 232, “Thank You, Chainsaw Man.”

Due to several dropped plot points and seemingly unresolved character arcs, many fans have been holding out hope for an official confirmation of Chainsaw Man Part 3. The fact that Chainsaw Man Volume 24 had a dozen pages unaccounted for only added more fuel to the fire.

Although the volume won't officially release until June 4, Chainsaw Man has finally revealed the contents of Volume 24's pages in Japan, including a brand-new ending page for Part 2. Unfortunately, Chainsaw Man Part 2's controversial ending isn't going to be any more palatable.

Chainsaw Man Officially Announces New Project After Part 2 Manga Ending

Hope is not lost for Chainsaw Man Part 3, as the series will reveal a brand-new project that could very well be Chainsaw Man Part 3 on June 19, 2026.

Chainsaw Man Volume 24's Final 12 Pages Have Been Revealed

The Chainsaw Man Manga Now Has a New Final Page

Chainsaw Man Final Page

Many fans have been speculating that Tatsuki Fujimoto would include an epilogue chapter or new pages in Chainsaw Man Part 2's final volume, but aside from one extra page expanding upon the ending, the manga's last 12 pages are extremely simple. The last 12 pages of Chainsaw Man Part 2 include the table of contents, four pages of Pochita sketches, a two-page character sheet, four blank pages, and a new ending page.

The new ending page is at the very end of the volume, and features Denji staring out at a city skyline following the events of Chainsaw Man Chapter 232. This is a direct callback to Volume 1's cover page, where a young Denji is staring off with the city behind him. In the original page, the city is in shambles, while in the new ending page, everything is far more put-together, suggesting that this timeline truly is a better one for Denji. Unfortunately, this is also confirmation that there will be no Chainsaw Man Part 3.

Chainsaw Man Part 3 Officially Isn't Happening

Goodbye, Chainsaw Man

Chainsaw Man Volume 24 does not contain an epilogue or any suggestion that Part 3 is coming. This was the manga's last chance at establishing a sequel to Part 2. Tatsuki Fujimoto is truly done with the series and there will be no Chainsaw Man Part 3. The Chainsaw Man manga is officially over with Pochita resetting the timeline, Nayuta replacing Makima, and Denji reuniting with both Power and Asa in a new life.

Not helping matters is that Chainsaw Man's editor, Shihei Lin, has officially left Jump, with his departure perfectly coinciding with him founding a new publishing house called Mix Green. It's currently rumored that Tatsuki Fujimoto left with Shiehei Lin and will be producing new manga for Mix Green, but nothing is confirmed. The only thing that is certain is that Chainsaw Man Part 3 is dead in the water, and the series is done for good.
