The CBRS-3 is a unique gun, but it has one notable gimmick which keeps it from ranking as the highest weapon in the meta. This is because the gun needs to rechamber after every 20 bullets fired, creating a delay in its rate of fire. This makes the MFS Carousel Fast Mag a must-use attachment, as it improves the rechamber speed, though it requires you to reach at least Weapon Prestige 1.

As for the rest of the attachments, players have a bit of freedom, but the recommended build above works wonders in improving the weapon's damage range, reducing its vertical recoil and bullet deviation, while also providing faster ADS, slide-to-fire, and dive-to-fire speeds, along with improved aim walking speed. The result is a heavy-hitting SMG, albeit one where every bullet you fire counts.

For Warzone, the CBRS-3 is a little more forgiving, as the rechamber for the gun kicks in after 30 bullets are fired instead of 20. However, again, the MFS Carousel Fast Mag is still a must-use attachment to reduce that delay in fire rate you experience halfway through your magazine. As for the rest of the attachments, players can focus on improving the weapon's other attributes.

While the weapon already has low recoil, our build further reduces bullet deviation on top of that, helping to keep it laser accurate. We also opted for increased damage range, improved aim down sight speed, and aim walking speed to boost your ability to strafe. The result is one of the strongest and best SMGs for medium range, albeit one held back by the rechambering mechanic.
