How Does Operation Broken Mirror Work in Black Ops 7 Endgame?

Operation Broken Mirror is the second act of missions in Black Ops 7 Endgame, following Operation Poison Pill. It consists of a total of 10 steps, each with multiple objectives that must be completed in order. The final step unlocks the Virus Injection Glitch Fracture, allowing players to take on another Glitch Boss.

Your current step, along with its objectives, can be tracked via your Tac Map while in Avalon, making it easy to keep track of the tasks you need to complete. Operation Broken Mirror does not have an end date as of the time of writing, and can be progressed even in future seasons.

With the recent patch, players no longer need to use the Thermal Spike ability for Step 8, which is a Week 6 Challenge reward. While you can still use the Thermal Spike Ability to complete the "Eliminate 10 Nightmare enemies with an Ability objective" (10 enemies in one use), this can also be done with other Major Abilities like Vision Pulse.
